Why do we love pets? ๐
Humans have shared our lives with domestic animals for thousands of years. Originally our relationship with them was purely instrumental. That is, we surrounded ourselves with those animals that provided a service to the community. But humans begin to discover in animals authentic travel companions, beings with whom we can connect, empathize and share our lives.
Did you know that 76% of people like pets? And many of those who don't have it would like to, but lack of space or time prevents it.
Most owners say that their pet makes them happy, feel that they deserve the same respect as another family member, and value them above even human friends. The vast majority talk to their pet daily. Results of many surveys show that women and young children have a greater affinity for companion animals.
Pets have an important role in society. They provide company to people and contribute value โโto families.
We enjoy watching, stroking, and playing with our pets. We admire the personality of our dog or the independent character of our cat. We believe that our pet is a source of constant companionship, that it will always be there when we need it, and that it helps us overcome difficult moments. We explain our confidences to them, we take care of them with joy.
Having a pet provides a clear positive balance in our lives. ๐ฅฐ
