From the familiar comfort of his home, Matthew has his Rabies blood test in preparation for his upcoming pet travel to New Zealand 🔗https://www.petexportvet.com/rnattpettravel
PetExportVet provides veterinary-managed RNATT blood collection, laboratory coordination and documentation guidance to help ensure compliance with international import regulations.
What is RNATT Testing?
Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Testing (RNATT) is required for pets travelling from Hong Kong to many rabies-controlled countries.
RNATT is the Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Test — is a blood test that provides confirmation that your pet's rabies vaccination produced real immunity.
Avoid last-minute relocation stress and unexpected travel delays. Early RNATT testing helps ensure your pet is prepared for future international travel requirements.

While flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds are deeply endearing companions, chronic loud breathing, snorting, and sleep disruption are clinical signs of Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS).
Because selective breeding shortened the skull while leaving the internal soft tissue unchanged, these pets frequently struggle with:
• Stenotic nares (pinched nostrils)
• Elongated soft palates that obstruct the trachea
• Severe heat regulation challenges—especially in Hong Kong's subtropical humidity
In my surgical practice, early corrective airway evaluation and intervention dramatically improves a pet’s quality of life, exercise tolerance, and cardiac longevity.
Furthermore, for families relocating internationally, adhering to aviation standards—including the Brachycephalic Fit2Fly protocols developed for airlines worldwide—ensures these sensitive companions travel with total medical safety.

If you are a flat-faced pet owner or planning an international move, proactive veterinary care makes all the difference.
