As of January 1, 2024, PCSing Service Members may be reimbursed up to $2,000 for moves to or from a location outside the continental United States. See the link below for answers to FAQ about this new pet transportation allowance.

As of January 1, 2024, military Service members going through a PCS within the continental United States can be reimbursed up to $550 for one household pet, either cat or dog, and up to $2,000 for moves to or from a location outside the continental United States to cover costs related to the transportation of a pet.

Our clinic may be closed for construction, but the training never stops!

CPT Pillischer, Army Veterinarian assigned to Veterinary Readiness Activity, Guam on US Naval Base Guam, trained Animal Care Specialists, Animal Health Technicians, and Military Working Dog Handlers in hemorrhage management this week, utilizing multiple models to simulate severe bleeding. This training ensures that our teams are ready to respond to Military Working Dog emergencies during deployment.

Until the Boller Veterinary Treatment Facility reopens, please contact the Andersen AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility , or a civilian veterinary clinic, for all of your pet medical needs.

Guam family,

The Boller Veterinary Treatment Facility is temporarily closed for structural repairs. We will reopen Summer 2024, or as soon as this urgent construction is complete.

The Andersen AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility remains open for medication refills and appointments. To reach their team, please call (671) 366-3205 or email [email protected]. We ask for your patience when contacting their facility, as they will receive a significant influx of inquires during this transition.

Our Public Health Activity - Guam Army Veterinary unit prioritizes military working dog care, pet health certificates, and pet PCS preparation appointments. All other appointments will be scheduled on a space available basis.

As always, please seek off base care for urgent and emergency needs.

The Boller Veterinary Treatment Facility is closed today for end of month inventory.

As always, please ensure you have an established relationship with an off-base vet to provide care for your pets during facility closures and emergencies. Your military veterinary clinics do not provide after hours or walk-in care.
