Donations, however small, are welcome:
https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T7JSWGLVMPKUU I have lived on the beautiful island of Thassos for over 20 years, and together with some amazing islanders, work tirelessly to make the place a paradise not just for tourists but for the local cats too, primarily through sterilisation

🐾 Tiny body. Already pregnant. 💔
I trapped this little stray because I was frightened I would lose her forever after somebody bulldozed the field she lived in. Her habitat had gone overnight, leaving her with only rubbish bins and dangerous roads to survive beside.
I honestly thought she was too small and too young for sterilisation… but at the vet we discovered she was already pregnant.
It shows just how brutal life is for stray cats. She is undernourished, tiny, vulnerable — yet already carrying kittens she never would have been able to safely raise. No shelter. No food security. No safe territory. Just survival.
Sterilisation matters because it stops this endless cycle of suffering before more kittens are born into hunger, disease, traffic, parasites, injuries, and homelessness. One small operation can prevent generations of misery. 🩺🐈
Thankfully, this little girl is now safe, sterilised, and treated. ❤️
If you’d like to help me continue rescuing and sterilising vulnerable strays, donations are desperately needed because I cannot do this alone. 🙏

Please don't make me put her back at the rubbish bins.
She is about five months old , very affectionate, sterilised.

🐾✂️ Two more male cats caught for sterilisation today ✂️🐾
Male cats are just as important to sterilise as females. One unneutered tomcat can father countless kittens, while also fighting constantly, spreading disease, and living a stressful, dangerous life on the streets. Sterilisation helps stop the endless cycle of suffering. 💔
While these boys were with us, they also received parasite treatment 🩺 One had painful ear mites, and ticks removed. Ticks can cause anaemia, spread disease, weaken cats, and become life-threatening for vulnerable strays. 🕷️
Every cat means vet bills, medications, parasite treatment, and sterilisation costs — and I can’t do this alone. If anybody would like to help support the street cats, I’d be so grateful. 🙏🐱

✂️🐈 Two more male cats caught for sterilisation today 💙💙
One unsterilised male cat can help create thousands and thousands of kittens.... but sterilising male cats doesn’t just prevent more unwanted litters 🐾
It also helps reduce the constant fighting, injuries, infections, spraying, and stress that come from competing over territory and females ⚠️🐈‍⬛💥
These two boys will now be safe, spared from that exhausting cycle, and unable to contribute to more homeless kittens being born into hardship 🙏💙
Every cat sterilised matters. One cat at a time, we reduce suffering for the future 🐾✂️

🩺🐈 Today I trapped two extremely vulnerable young cats living off rubbish bins beside busy main roads. Both were tiny, both were struggling to survive, and both were so young that I honestly worried they might be too young for sterilisation.
I sent videos to the vet and explained the situation... our usual minimum weight is 2 kilos — but one of these cats was only 1.8kg. After assessing them, the vet agreed to proceed.
Both cats turned out to be pregnant in the early stages.
I’m so relieved we caught them in time, because kittens would almost certainly have pushed these girls from just about coping… to not coping at all. More mouths to feed, more danger from traffic, more exhaustion, more suffering.
Instead, they now have a chance to stay healthier, safer, and more stable on the streets. 💛
This is exactly what your donations pay for: preventing suffering before it begins, and giving vulnerable stray cats a fighting chance. Thank you for making this possible. 🙏🐾

🐾 Just today alone, this is what the stray cats needed… 💔
😿 Three cats were taken to the vet: 🫁 Two are suffering with pneumonia and have started antibiotics and cortisone treatment to help them breathe and recover.
🩺 Another cat has eosinophilic granuloma, an immune-mediated condition which means she often needs antibiotics. Today the vet took a nasal swab so we can identify exactly which bacteria is causing the problem and give her the precise antibiotic she needs, instead of repeatedly trying different medications and risking damage to her kidneys. 🧪
🎯 I also trapped a difficult female cat who has been producing litter after litter because nobody had been able to catch her for sterilisation. In a surprise twist, her son went into the trap too — so now they’ll both be sterilised. ✂️🐈🐈
🗑️ Then there was a very vulnerable young female living amongst the rubbish bins in the centre of town beside a major road. If she becomes pregnant, her kittens would be born and raised there amongst traffic and danger, so she’s being trapped and sterilised before that cycle begins. 🚗💨
🏚️ And another little female has just lost the only habitat she knew after the area was bulldozed. Once frightened cats scatter, they can become almost impossible to find, so even though she’s still quite small, I’m trapping and sterilising her now while I still can.
Every test, every treatment and every sterilisation costs money — but this is how the suffering cycle is reduced, one cat at a time. 🐾💕

Ticks are more than just unpleasant — for stray cats, they can be dangerous. Heavy tick infestations can cause anaemia, weakness, skin infections, and transmit serious diseases. For cats already struggling to survive on the streets, parasites can be the difference between coping and collapsing.
This stray is receiving a tick treatment today so that he can finally have some relief from the constant irritation and blood loss these parasites cause. It may seem like a small thing, but for a stray cat, basic preventative care can completely change their quality of life.
A single tick treatment costs around €15, and every treatment means one more cat protected from unnecessary suffering. If anybody would like to sponsor a stray cat’s treatment, it would make a huge difference. 🐾💚

I found this male cat in a shocking condition — emaciated, less than half the weight he should be, severely dehydrated, unable to eat, suffering from a massive mouth infection and an upper respiratory infection.
I managed to kick-start his appetite by carefully force-feeding him, while the vet administered antibiotics and subcutaneous fluids to fight the infection and dehydration. And now… look at him. ❤️

He’s eating on his own from a bowl, as long as I stay with him, and has put on weight. You can see how much he wants comfort and reassurance. Animals don't always know when they are being helped .... but he does.

There is still a way to go, but things are looking up for him at last, and every tiny improvement feels huge. 🐾

None of this is possible without support. Every donation helps me continue treating sick, injured, starving stray cats that I encounter whilst feeding and sterilising strays.

Today was busy....💔🐾
This poor cat has become emaciated as a painful mouth infection meant he could barely eat. 😢 he's improving but the vet wanted to ensure his diahorrea doesn't recur. 🏥🙏🏻
Later we held our fundraising quiz which was such a lovely boost after such a hard start to the day. 🎶❓❤️ Every euro raised helps cats like this get veterinary treatment, sterilisation, food, and emergency care.
And of course, the day ended the way it always does — out on the streets feeding the stray cats who wait every single night for their food. 🌙🐱🍽️ These feeding rounds never stop, and neither does the need.
Thank you to everybody who supports, donates, shares, or simply cares. You are helping these cats more than you know. 🙏🏻🐾
