Η επαφή με τα άλογα κάνει τους νέους πιο φιλότιμους, κοινωνικούς και ενσυναισθητικούς .
Η ενασχόληση με τα άλογα έχει ευεργετική επίδραση στη συναισθηματική ανάπτυξη και τη συμπεριφορά των νέων - αυτό είναι το αποτέλεσμα μιας συγκριτικής μελέτης στην Ουγγαρία: οι διαφορές μεταξύ των νέων που έχουν επαφή με άλογα και εκείνων που δεν έχουν ήταν πολύ βαθιές σε ορισμένους τομείς.
Η φιλοκοινωνική συμπεριφορά των μαθητών που αλληλεπιδρούν με τα άλογα είναι τέσσερις φορές καλύτερη από εκείνη των μαθητών που δεν ασχολούνται με τα άλογα - το αποτέλεσμα αυτό είναι αξιοσημείωτο και υποστηρίζει την ιδέα ότι η αλληλεπίδραση με τα άλογα βελτιώνει τις κοινωνικές δεξιότητες των μαθητών".

Contact with horses makes young people more ambitious, social and empathetic.
Being around horses has a beneficial effect on the emotional development and behaviour of young people - this is the result of a comparative study in Hungary: the differences between young people who have contact with horses and those who do not were very profound in certain areas.
The pro-social behaviour of students who interact with horses is four times better than that of students who do not interact with horses - this result is remarkable and supports the idea that interaction with horses improves students' social skills."
