🐴 PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH US ❤️

We need to ask a little favour from everyone visiting Rocking Horse Beach Ranch this summer.

We are a small, family-run ranch, run by our family with our boys in tow. There isn’t a big business or corporation behind us. Our summer season is what pays for our horses, our family and the ranch for the entire year.

Every booking matters.

Right now, we are turning away families and children every single day because we are so busy.

So when someone books a ride and then forgets, doesn’t turn up, or cancels just minutes before… that space is lost. Another family who would have loved to ride with us could have had it.

Please understand that a last-minute cancellation isn’t just an empty saddle to us. It directly impacts our ability to care for these horses. ❤️

We work incredibly hard all summer to earn enough to get our horses and our family through the winter, keep the ranch running, and hopefully have something put aside in case another horse comes along that desperately needs our help.

So when you book, PLEASE write the date in your diary, save it in your phone and set a reminder.

Tattoo it on your forehead if necessary. 😂

And if your plans genuinely change, we completely understand — just please give us as much notice as possible so we have a chance to offer the space to someone else.

We are doing everything we can to fit as many of you in as possible while you’re here in Rhodes, and we absolutely LOVE seeing your families meet and fall in love with our horses. ❤️

Please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment… and if you book, please remember your booking.

Because when you ride with us, you’re not just booking a horse ride.

You’re helping us rescue, feed, care for and love these beautiful animals. 🐴❤️

🐴 HORSE OF THE WEEK: NACHO 🐴

Meet Nacho… our miracle boy. ❤️

Before finding his forever home at Rocking Horse Beach Ranch, Nacho suffered unimaginable cruelty. He was abused, had petrol poured over him, and was deliberately set on fire. Thankfully, Katy rescued him and gave him the second chance he so desperately deserved.

You’d never know it today.

Despite everything he’s been through, Nacho has grown into one of the sweetest, kindest, and most trustworthy horses you’ll ever meet. He has a heart of gold, adores people, and has become a firm favourite with everyone who meets him.

Nacho is the perfect reminder that, with love, patience, and kindness, even the deepest scars can heal. He is exactly why we do what we do.
