We use a reliable and helpful transporter who transports animals from Athens, Greece crossing Europe through Italy, Austria, Germany and France and into UK. We arrange the pet passport, vaccinations and microchip (cost 75 e)

💞This beautiful boy 💞was found wandering in the area of Felos on Andros, Greece....He is a Labrador Retriever who has either been cruelly dumped 😭by a previous owner or simply lost😩. I suspect the former. We are waiting for a vet visit to assess his age, state of health and to vaccinate and chip him....It's early days, but if anyone would like to give this sweet guy a home🙏 ...please contact me here 💞..... Adoption time!!!! Beautiful 4 month old sibling pups, Teddy and Rookie are looking for their forever homes. Teddy, the bigger of the two, is expected to be around 25 kilos. Rookie the smaller, around 20 kilos. Both are super friendly, sweet, used to human company and fully vaccinated and chipped... any extra tests can be done on request from potential adopters. 💞HOMES NEEDED.....💞These two little beauties both need homes💞....the blonde puppy is a boy and will be around 15 kilos.....the little brown girl is a classic Kokoni, small, with short legs and a long body. She will probably be around 8 -10 kilos. They are both super sweet. The blonde guy was rescued out of a plastic bag thrown in the dustbins. 😫😫He is super sensitive and intelligent and already listens if you tell him off. 😍The little brown girl is a delightful bundle of fun and charm. 😍We are looking for the best homes for them. 🙏Please message me here. G😭ZA Battling with a bout of food poisoning for the past 8 days it feels like I have spent more time in the bathroom than out 😩😩. But I find myself thinking often about the people in G😭ZA who don't even have a toilet, or running water, or a shower, or medication, or electricity, or food or..........can you imagine the horror of being sick in these conditions😭😭.
the lives of 2 million people are in the hands of a few men who don't seem to care.... it's horrific

🙏🙏S.O.S. for this family of pups....💞💞there are 8 of them! The black and white guys look similar. and there are three brown and white.... two girls and six boys !!💞💞 vaccinated, chipped and around 3.5 months old......they are cross hunting dogs but no hunters need apply !. The owners are having trouble keeping them and have asked for help from us to find homes.🙏🙏 Please message me here if you would like to adopt one of these puppies.😃

💞This beautiful Husky/cross at the moment is in a home in Northern France with an adopter who unfortunately is unable to keep him. 😭So we are looking urgently for a new home. 🙏He can be transported to Calais in France for any potential adopter in UK or equally could be brought back to Greece if a home is offered in Greece. 😃He's playful, sociable and loving with both humans and other dogs but we are not sure about cats.😕 He has a good character and is in no way traumatised by bad experiences. 😃He's energetic and should be homed with an owner who has time to exercise him. 😃MAKE ROOKIE HAPPY !😍This is Rookie.......he's the smallest of this beautiful family of mix Greek Shepherd/ Labrador pups.💞....he's more or less half the size of and weaker than his siblings and is therefore being bullied and having a hard time and badly needs a home He's about 3.5 months old, is chipped and has had his first two vaccinations, and will soon have his rabies jab. 😃He should grow into a medium size. Hello! My name is Anna and I’m one of the recurring volunteers at magic mountain 😃 I’d like to tell you all a bit more about Holly and her amazing personality!! Holly is a sweet and gentle soul. Everyday I would wake up to her smiling at me through the window, and go to bed with her coming to check on me before settling down in “Hotel Holly” outside my room. Holly lit up the more I spent time with her, constantly smiling, asking for pets, and just leaning her head into me.. She desperately needs her person 🥺 She is an older girl with so much love to give, I would take her home in a heartbeat if I could (I already have a dog and she gets jealous of others). She is being treated for a number of manageable ailments, and she is still nervous of being put on a lead… but with lots of love and time I know she will thrive in the right home and lead a long happy life!🩷 If you think you can be this person for Holly please get in touch with Sandy🙏🏻 Holly’s person is out there, we just need to find them !! 🐕🥰

My name is Sandy and I been living on the island of Andros in Greece for the past 40 years. I first came to this island in 1979 as a representative of a British tourist company, and enamoured with the beauty of this island decided to make it my home.
I continued working in tourism in various different ways all of these years until 2007, when I was lucky enough to find a house with a large piece of land in the mountain village of Arnas, and hence the idea of a small animal shelter began to form in my mind. I have always helped to rescue animals over the years that I have lived in Greece, but this time I had the space to home animals as well.
In this way the Andros Animal Rescue was born. Nowadays we home 18 dogs, about 25 cats, 5 donkeys (including a baby donkey), a mule and a horse. Our main source of income is through two Airbnb properties (see the Stone House and the Magic Room, Andros on Airbnb), but unfortunately these funds are not sufficient to support the whole operation and therefore we are asking if any one of you would consider helping financially by offering a donation.
