More about the White Swiss Shepherd
They are gentle , social and very intelligent , learns quickly and easy to train . Loyal to family , watchful around strangers but never show shy or fearful behaviour. Their loving personality shows resemblance to a Labrador retriever character rather then a German Shepherd which is why they make excellent family dogs. They get on well with children and other dogs and is also excellent for training as guard dogs , agility , search and rescue obedience and assistance dogs. The White Swiss Shepherd may be gentler then a German Shepherd but dont underestimate the females as Alpha's they are very territorial over their family and when it comes down to it she is very much capable of protecting her family and will not hesitate .
Note they must have the freedom of both indoors and outdoors as this not only stimulates good social behaviour but encourages them to protect you and your family .
They require stimulation and space to run and interact with family members. They also love water and can be trained to swim most importantly they make excellent watchdogs at night .
