Simparica is an oral medication for the treatment of tick, flea and mite infestations in dogs. The dose a dog will require will depend on their bidy weight. After administration, Simparica has residual activity for at least 5 weeks.

Doses
5mg (1.3-2.5 kg body weight)
10mg (>2.5-5 kg body weight)
20mg (>5-10 kg body weight)
40mg (>10- 20 kg body weight)
80mg (>20-40 kg body weight)
120mg (>40-60 kg body weight)

Rabies is still a menace in Ghana and we all need to do our bit to help eradicate rabies by 2030. Most human rabies cases are due to bites from rabid dogs.

How can you help?
Ensure your dog is vaccinated against rabies. First vaccination at 3 months and then once every year is all it takes.
