Summer walks!

Although it was raining today, but our dogs are very happy to receive volunteers, so please visit us when the sun is out, take them for a walk, give them some love!

Our onco patient Lady is in a foster home!! ❤️

We are so, so happy to see this girl finally experience life in a home. After almost a decade with us and never finding her own family, now - when she may only have a few months left - an incredibly kind family offered to foster her while they are staying in Tbilisi.

Even if it is only for a short time, it means Lady will finally know what it feels like to be loved as someone’s pet, to have a couch, a routine, and a family around her.

We would love to borrow a vacuum cleaner for this lovely family. Since they are only staying temporarily in the country and living in a rental apartment, buying one does not really make sense.

If anyone has a used one or a spare one they could lend for a couple of months, please let us know, we can collect it.

We know Lady will probably lose more hair during the coming hot months, and this feels like the absolute minimum we can do for the family that is giving her this chance ❤️

UPDATE ON DANDALA

Dandala came to us two weeks ago.

This lovely old lady is living with heart failure, which causes fluid to build up in her abdomen. While on the street, it was not possible to provide the daily medication, veterinary care, and regular follow-up she needs, so we brought her in to make her time as comfortable as possible.

She arrived with severe fluid build-up putting pressure on her organs and heart. Last weekend, the fluid was drained, and with daily medication, she already seems more comfortable: her appetite is back, she enjoys walks, fresh air, and her comfy bed.

We will keep giving her the care she needs for as long as she needs it.
