We teach you to train using modern scientific methods which are kind to your pet, fun for you AND your pet and are effective. We take an holistic approach to your pet’s overall wellbeing and help you to make the best choices you can on behalf of your pet to promote their health. We offer one-to-one consultations in person or on line to address problem behaviours, initially forming a management plan to keep you all safe whilst you and your pet are learning. Sometimes, this means safe from harm, but more often, safe from learning things which may later be a problem to either you or your pet. Next we make a plan for the future which we then help you to implement by teaching the various individual skills you and your pet need to coexist happily and healthily. We offer individual training with your pet at our premises, or in their normal environment (it could be at your home or on a walk, depending on what behaviours we are training). We have the facilities to practise skills in the presence of other animals (usually dogs) safely at a distance your dog is comfortable with. We can also now offer residential training for you and your dog together.

Our Holistic Therapy Toolkit webinar is specifically for all animals, including cats, who have been or whom you are considering rescuing - however, it is appropriate for anyone who is managing any animal with behavour challenges.

Holistic vet Chris Aukland and vet nurse and animal behaviourist Morag Sutherland believe there is so much a holistic approach can offer rescue animals and their families - in particular species appropriate diet, homeopathy, herbal medicine and behaviour management. The session will be 2 hours long and include Q&A. It will also be recorded for you to download for life.

Even though this exact quote hasn't been found in Hippocrates's writings, it is a wonderful 'modern' summary of his oath (below).
His original Greek oath translated: “I will apply dietetic and lifestyle measures to help the sick to my best ability and judgment; I will protect them from harm and injustice.”
Hippocrates knew, even in 390BC, that diet and lifestyle played a major role in a person’s health, so of course it's the same for our pets.
