Gus the Labrador’s first ever footstep track, using the circle track method 👣

I really like introducing dogs to tracking this way — it’s very low stress, helps the dog learn to work independently, and teaches many important elements early on.

It’s also easy for owners to follow, especially if you’re new to tracking, which makes it a great way to begin this kind of nosework.

Pet Dog Club Trial 🤩

What a brilliant weekend! Everyone did amazingly at our club trial — it was a fantastic opportunity to showcase all the training and hard work you’ve been putting in.

The trial covered focused lead walking, on- and off-lead obedience, recall, and polite greetings. These exercises demand a great deal of control and the ability for dogs to maintain their behaviour even without rewards, and you all rose to the challenge beautifully.

Well done again, everyone! I’ll share more clips over the weekend.
