With this book acting as their guide, equestrians will be equipped with the tools to become knowledgeable and empathetic advocates, ensuring the well-being and

🐎 About me! 🐎

I thought I would do a little about me and my qualifications and what I do in my sessions.

I graduated with a First Class Hons in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2017. I also have a Distinction in Level 5 Equine Massage with the Equine Massage Academy.

I have loved horses ever since I can remember and I have always been interested in gait analysis, saddle fit and designing exercise plans!

I am a member of the Institute of Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP). I am also part of the Equine Massage Academy Association. Being part of these associations means I follow their regulations and have to do a set amount of Continued Professional development. This is important to make sure I’m up to date with current research and knowledge.

My sessions include the use of a thermal imaging camera which I use alongside palpations to assess where the horse is tight, atrophied (lack of muscle) or restricted. I particularly enjoy looking at the horses posture and how this can indicate tension areas.

I use a wide range of techniques to include: myofascial release, effleurage, compressions, cross friction fibre, spinal freedom, mobilisations etc to improve the horses musculoskeletal system.

I absolutely love my job, and it’s all thanks to my fab clients (horses and their owners!) Getting messages with updates and videos etc makes my day!

Thanks for reading and I look forward to working with you.
