A little update from me…

As some of you may remember when I started Happy Hounds, this was because I couldn’t find a job that accommodated school hours, so I made my own!

However, after a successful interview, I have been offered a job that does accommodate school drop off/pick up 🙌🏼 (massive mum win!)

Therefore I am sadly closing Happy Hounds and this will be my final week of dog walks 🐕

I would like to thank all of my fantastic doggy owners that trusted me with their pups, I’m so lucky to have such lovely owners & dogs 🐶

Thank you for all of your likes/shares/ follows and continued support 🧡

Saving dogs with crucial knowledge!

Never leave your dog in a hot car, not even to pop in the shop.

We underestimate how hot cars can get and how quickly that can affect our pets - often with fatal consequences 🔴☀️

Dogs are at risk of heatstroke in temperatures of 19°C or above! Leaving a dog in a car for even a short amount of time can cause severe heatstroke as the temperature can rise dangerously fast.

Remember! It is never enough to:

❌ Leave them to ‘quickly pop’ in somewhere
❌ Crack the window open a little
❌ Park in the shade

Never leave a dog unattended in a car and even when travelling with them, remember they require cool air (ideally air conditioning) and regular access to water.

What a hot one it has been, much cooler this morning ☀️ walks have been cancelled, shortened & in the morning only this week.

Missing a walk won’t harm a dog but a hot weather walk could 🥵 please be careful.
