The newest edition to our creatures 😍 Jade has named him Mini Lee due to the attitude apparently 🤣

Isopods love to eat their moults immediately, as do many other species.

During the process they're more vulnerable to prey as their new exoskeleton hardens. Their discarded moult provides an immediate nutrient source of critical elements such as calcium to aid in replenishing a portion of what's used during the process.

You can provide your isopods with snake sheds as an additional nutrient source, they'll happily devour it ☺️
