Whether your pup needs a regular weekday walk, some extra exercise, or just a little adventure while you’re busy, I’d love to help!

I've been a little quiet on here lately as life has been keeping me busy, but we're still out and about doing what we love! 💛
What a lovely week we've had out exploring with all our wonderful pups. They've been making the most of the summer sunshine 🐶☀️
With the warmer weather, we're making sure everyone stays safe, cool, and hydrated while enjoying their walks. It's been such a joy spending time with all these happy faces!

A huge thank you to all my amazing owners for your continued support and for trusting me with your furry family members - it really means so much.

🐾 Hidden Summer Hazard: Foxtails 🌾

Summer adventures are the best, but it's important to watch out for foxtails! These small, barbed grass seeds can easily become lodged in your dog's paws, ears, nose, or even eyes, causing pain and potentially serious health issues.

After every walk, especially through long grass or fields, take a minute to check:
🐾 Between the toes
👂 Inside and around the ears
👃 Around the nose
👀 Eyes and coat

If your dog starts sneezing excessively, shaking their head, licking a paw constantly, or seems uncomfortable, contact your vet as soon as possible.
A quick post-walk check only takes a minute and could save your pup from a painful emergency!

🐾 Important Heatwave Update 🐾

Due to the current heatwave and the high temperatures forecast throughout the week, all dog walks will be cancelled this week. I will be still offering pop ins or late evening walks, please get in contact if I haven’t reached out already.

Your dogs' health and safety will always come first, and unfortunately it's simply not safe for them to be out walking in this extreme heat. Even short walks can put dogs at risk of heatstroke and burnt paw pads.

Please help keep your furry friends safe by:
☀️ Walking them early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler.
💧 Making sure they always have access to fresh, cool water.
🏡 Keeping them indoors or in the shade during the hottest part of the day.
🐾 Checking the pavement with the back of your hand – if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws.
🧊 Offering cooling mats, frozen treats, or damp towels to help them stay comfortable.
🚫 Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes.

Thank you for your understanding. I'd much rather miss a few walks than put any of our four-legged friends at risk.

☀️🐾 Due to the upcoming heatwave, next week’s dog walks may need to be adjusted to help keep your furry friends safe and comfortable in the heat.
I’ll be in contact with everyone individually to arrange any changes to walking times, durations, or alternative options 🐶💛
A few important hot weather reminders for keeping pets cool:
🐾 Walk dogs during cooler morning or evening hours
🐾 Always carry fresh water and offer regular drink breaks
🐾 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws!
🐾 Provide shaded, cool areas for rest
🐾 Cooling mats, damp towels, and frozen treats can help regulate body temperature
