🆘We need help. Desperately.🆘 PLEASE STOP AND READ🙏
Most of you have been following the story of the 27 dogs we rescued from that hoarding case back in October…
You already know how heartbreaking it was.
What many people don’t know is that most rescues said no.
They believed these dogs were not rehomable.
And to be honest… we understand why.
If we hadn’t followed our hearts that day, maybe we would have made the same decision.
But we didn’t.
And 8 months later, here is the truth:
They are not “unrehomable.”
They were just never given a chance.
Seven of them are already in homes.
Safe. Loved. Learning how to live.
Watching them play for the first time, seek out human touch, relax without fear… it’s something we will never be able to put fully into words.
It’s everything.
We KNOW these dogs can live in homes.
We KNOW they can be part of a family.
But here’s where we are struggling.
We still have 20 of these dogs with us.
And another 7 shy dogs we rescued from pounds or the streets.
In Cyprus, we have only a handful of volunteers, and they are overwhelmed. They have put everything into the rehabilitation of these dogs and it is still not enough.
And at this pace, it will take YEARS to help them all.
They don’t have years.
Some of them have already come so far —
walking on a lead, taking treats from our hands, even allowing gentle cuddles.
They are ready for the next step.
They need homes.
They need people.
They need one person willing to give them patience, safety, and time.
So we’re asking… from the bottom of our hearts:
