Please be vigilant with your pooches…🫶🏼🐶

❗️PARVOVIRUS❗️

Parvovirus seems to be on the increase amongst some dogs again in the Teesside area. Be mindful where you walk your doggies and also ensure to keep up to date with your dog’s annual vaccines and any additional vaccines that can help prevent your dog getting parvovirus.

If your dog does have parvovirus, ensure to keep them indoors to prevent the spread or other dogs.

Parvovirus signs to look out for:
💩 Severe diarrhoea
🩸 Possibly blood in stool
🤮 Vomiting
🫩 Lethargy
👃 Very foul odour to body / stool
🤒 Fever / high body temperature - hot to touch
💧 Loss of appetite and not drinking / dehydration.
⚖️ Rapid weight loss and experiencing abdominal pain

If your pet is experiencing any of these signs, this is classed as an emergency and you must contact the vet right away for an appointment as this disease can be life threatening.

The sooner treatment starts, better chance of recovery. This can be a fatal disease.

🛫🏖️ HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT 🏖️🛫

Sooooooo, for once I’m being super organised and letting everyone know in decent time for an upcoming holiday I have.

I’ve chosen a time where it is much quieter, given it’s in the school holidays. So won’t cause much disruption to my customers 😘

There will be no walks available from Tuesday 12th August until Wednesday 20th August.

I will keep re sharing this post to ensure everyone remembers and just to keep rubbing it in as much as possible too 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣😘

Just a reminder, that due to the excessive temperatures, walks will be taking place in shady spots, with plenty of water provided. But as expected will be shortened for the benefit of the safety of your pooches 🫶🏼☀️

Super polite notice…

Due to the rise in cost of living etc, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to increase my prices for dog walks.
We haven’t had a price increase for 2 years now and as I’m sure you will all know, this decision has not been taken lightly.

Effective 5th July our new prices will be as follows -

🐾 1 hour group walks - £15
🙌🏼 3 or more days booked per week is £14 per walk
🙌🏼 Multi dog households will receive a discount per
2nd/3rd/4th dog etc

🐾 ‘Daycare’ (2 adventure walks) - £25

All walks are still inclusive of LOTS of fun, where I have sole use of a fabulous field (approx 15 acres). Offering secluded, controlled walks, with plenty of daily sniffs and wiggles along the way.
Prices are always inclusive of collection & drop off, poo bags, leads etc.
Ohhhhh and don’t forget my unlimited supply of meaty chunks for pre, during and post walk treat time too 🥰 (no expense spared for my gang 😘)

I am fully pet first aid trained, DBS checked and insured. Always offering the best in my services as standard.
Established in 2015 we are also one of the longer standing dog walking companies in the local area, so it’s safe to say I have LOTS of experience, so you can be assured your pooches are most definitely in professional, safe hands 🙌🏼

EXPLORER WALKS are coming to Waggy…🙌🏼🥾🐾

I’m just initially putting the feelers out, but I’m sure there will most definitely be a demand for this…

As some of my customers know, I’m on a new health and fitness mission and have been enjoying some lovely, long walks, tea time / early evening and weekends.
They range anything between 5-10 miles, in some beautiful places (the ones pictured are in and around Osmotherly) and are accompanied by Jenny from The Paw Pad Stainton with her lovely pooches (Benji and puppy Taro).

The walk will be at the least 2 hours, meaning that only those pooches that are physically able 🫶🏼, will be ok to join (not ageist or ableist 😘 but you know I look after my gang).

This new service is priced at £22 per pooch and as always, this is not inclusive of travel time (we are and will be travelling distances to get to all the lovely walks we have around us, so your pooch will be out for quite a while).

I will pre announce dates and it will be strictly on a first come basis (1-2 walking spaces per walk)
