Petition: Review regulation of animal boarding and licensing conditions.

This petition was created on the 19th June 2026, by Alyson Lane, after Molly died in the hands of an unlicensed dog carer.

A review should consider introducing a new framework for paid pet care including minimum standards, more efficient checking of licences and enforcement of online platforms. There should be more alignment between devolved governments. These changes could be known as Molly's Law.
