TRIGGER WARNING!

On Monday I was devastating to hear of the loss of this beautiful boy, Douglas!
For the past month or so he had been terrified by the fireworks n hiding and not wanting to go for his walks, which he LOVED! But on Monday he was keen to go out and was excited to visit his local park for a run n to chase his ball but unfortunately a bang of some sort spooked him and he bolted for home. Unfortunately he didn't make the short journey home and was knocked down!!!!
He was only 4!!! Taken far too soon and all because of fireworks!!!!
Please help by signing this petition to regulated fireworks and prevent more stress, harm and worse to animals! Thanks for reading xx

Beautiful Dolly is an assist dog for Evie who is 14 and Dolly needs heart surgery.

⚠️ Don't give your dogs ice cubes in the heat to cool them down ⚠️

Their anterior hypothalamus is triggered o warm up the body because it recognises something icy cold has been absorbed, and subsequently the bodily temperature rises to compensate for this. In extreme heat a dogs' temperature needs to be reduced gradually.
Give dogs tepid water only. Water soaked towels rubbed into the dogs fur close to the skin wicks away heat from the body and keeps them cool, especially under forelegs (armpits) and pads.
