Or just come for a peaceful stroll on your own in the countryside and listen to the birdsong while enjoying a homemade cake and freshly ground coffee. If you don’t want to go home we a campsite - Walnut Tree Meadow - and with just seven pitches you can really spread out and enjoy the space and tranquility. New for 2021 is the dog swimming pool run by Canine Dip & Dive Wymondham and the Small Animal Clinic for rehabilitation massage and therapy. It's hard to believe we are just one mile from the bustling town of Wymondham with its heritage attractions, fabulous pubs and eateries, high street shops, supermarkets and independent retailers. Now the weather is cooling down and people are coming out again with dogs I must remind you that the social field is for SOCIABLE dogs who are happy to play and interact with other dogs and people.
We have a zero tolerance policy to any dog aggression so if you are not 100% certain that your dog is friendly, not reactive, has never shown any aggression towards other dogs/people, please do NOT bring them to the field.
If you are not sure, maybe have a new rescue dog or are walking someone else's dog, do NOT let them off the lead on the field. You must either do the farm walk or hire Train & Play or Paws for Play.
We cannot stress this enough. Do not put other dogs or their families at risk.
If your dog is OK with small dogs but doesn't like big ones, if your dog is OK with big dogs but doesn't like small ones, if your dog doesn't like men wearing hats (I could go on...) - do NOT bring them.
This field is not a place to try out a new dog and see what they are like. You must be 100% sure of your dog's nature.
We want this to be a safe space for people to enjoy time with their dogs, not worrying about whether a dog on the field is going to launch themselves at any given moment.
We are looking at other ways of policing the field as there are a few people bringing dogs that do not pass the test.
Don't spoil it for the majority who have great dogs.
Thank you.
If there are any witnesses to a border collie called Basil who was in the field on Saturday, or if you are the owner of Basil, please private message me.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT!! Please read to the end!
As of October 1st there will be a few changes to the grooming salon here.
😢 First the sad news. Sam at Centre Paws Pet Spa is leaving us.
✂️ As the catalyst whose decision to set up her salon here really started the whole Centre Paws journey we are super sad to see her leave after 8 years here.
🏠 But the good news is she is not putting her scissors down completely, she will be doing home visits. So if you’d like to have Sam continue grooming your dog and your home is suitable she can come to you 🎉 She’ll bring her own table and equipment but will use your bath or shower.
🌎 She’ll be calling her new business The Global Groomer and you can contact her on the same mobile number 07565 491248.
⁉️So what’s happening with the salon here, I hear you ask?
🐾 The great news is Tracy and Rachel from Canine Dip and Dive Wymondham will be taking it on!!
👏 Tracy set up Canine Snip and Dry over a year ago and has been grooming and teeth cleaning as a side business to the pool and in the off season so jumped at the chance to take on a permanent base and Rachel will be joining her.
📧📞 Their email is [email protected] and contact number 07951 285974.
They are in the process of setting up a booking system too.
👏 The other great news is Emily, who has worked alongside Sam for many years, is also staying here and her business will be called Two Tails Grooming. We’ll share her new contact details soon but in the meantime text Sam’s number for appointments.
🫟The salon will be out of action for a couple of weeks at the beginning of October for redecorating and setting up and then it will be all systems go.
🤝 But we wish Sam all the best for her new venture and a more flexible work/life balance with husband David and little Thomas.
🤗 And are delighted to have Tracy and Rachel, and Emily, here all year round keeping your dogs looking tip top.
🫧🚿 Keep following for more updates, including installation of a self service dog wash … (yes Sam doesn’t want to leave us completely!)
