Waggy Tails of Wymondham

It was nice to finally have a bit of respite from this insufferable (well, for us dog walkers at least 🥵) heatwave for a bit last week and get up to some of our usual banter, though sticking to the shade as much as possible and always plenty of water available as it was still quite warm out there, here are some of the highlights - lots of absolutely beautiful, happy faces having the best time as always 🐶🥳

Looks like the hot stuff is heading back again next week with it hitting 30+ degrees on Wednesday so we’ll be back to garden visits, short trips to the woods oh and a couple of morning trips to Wagdale booked in - can’t wait for that! 🦮🐩🐕‍🦺

Well it sure has been tough going for us responsible dog walkers out there lately with this ongoing heatwave meaning lots of cancelled non-essential walks or shorter garden visits for those who need us, from a business perspective it has been horrendous but as always we’ll never compromise on the safety of any of our furry friends in such conditions so I’ll take the financial hit on the chin safe in the knowledge they’re not being exposed to the elements 🥵

One big positive however is that I’ve been able to hire the absolutely fantastic private field over at Wagdale and make use of the of shady woodland which covers the best part of an acre as soon as you enter so all the doggies have been kept out of the blazing sunshine and we’ve been enjoying lots of more gentle sniffs and mooching about rather than our usual craziness 🦮🐩🐕‍🦺

I’m very blessed to have been able to travel the world and have visited almost 40 countries so far, but I can honestly say this place is one of my favourite three acres on Planet Earth, and I’m pretty sure all our Waggy Tails Wymondham doggie pals agree, just look at all these happy, beautiful faces 🐶😍

Back there again for more fun times tomorrow morning, can’t wait 🥳

🏆⚽️🏆⚽️WORLD CUP TIME!!⚽️🏆⚽️🏆

So as you may well have noticed the 2026 football World Cup kicked off last night, and my usual tradition is to run a sweepstake for all the doggies who want to get involved. However I’ve been a bit disorganised with that sort of thing and didn’t actually think about it until yesterday, far too late to float the idea especially with so many countries involved this time, but I thought just for fun I’d stick all their names in a random online generator so they’ve all got a nation to cheer for over the next few weeks 🐶🐕🙏

This is how is panned out, no entry fee or anything as purely for fun but I might chuck in a prize or two for the finalists so stay tuned and the very best of luck to them all ⚽️🤞

Can’t believe it’s been eight years this month since I took a massively positive life-changing decision to launch my little business and actually do something I had a passion for as a career and begin my Waggy Tails Wymondham adventure, and goodness me what an absolutely incredible adventure it’s been so far!! 🐶🐩🐕‍🦺🦮🥳

It was without doubt one of the very best decisions I’ve ever made and over these past eight years I’ve met some phenomenal doggies and moggies (and humans as well, you lot are awesome! 🫶) and not had one second of regret - even when I’m standing in a field, tipping it down with rain and the wind blowing a gale with half a dozen doggy doggies and all those muddy paws to clean I genuinely wouldn’t swap it for the world ☔️💨🐾

I can just about vaguely recall those Sunday evenings full of dread at the prospect of waking up the next day to face an hour and half commute to my office on the other side of London with some unbelievably boring meetings and uninspiring workload ahead of me, however right now on this and every Sunday evening I can’t wait to get back out to ‘work’ as I always kick off another wonderful week in the life of a with lots and lots of fun with this ridiculously adorable pair of besties charging about like loons in the woods, and the weather forecast for next week looks great so definitely no Monday morning blues for me anymore and I just feel so blessed that I’m able to spend so much time with so many of the most awesome doggies you could ever possibly meet.
They really are the best things we have so thank you all so, so much for letting me and my fantastic Waggy Tails team be mates with your furry friends and for trusting us with them over the years, this is far more than just a job and we truly do love them all to bits 🐶❤️

So nice to have had a bit of decent weather at last the past couple of weeks, the daytime rain appears to have abated for now and the sun has had his hat on a few times which makes for happy doggies, happy me and plenty of fab photos of our incredible Waggy Tails Wymondham mates living their best lives 🐶🐕‍🦺🐕🐩🦮🐾☀️🥳

Another fabulous week in the wonderful world of Waggy Tails Wymondham, thankfully not quite so much rain and we even had a few bits of sunshine here and there but still lots of soggy doggies, happy ones though which is of course always the most important thing of all 🐶🐕🐕‍🦺🐩🐾😁

The weather sure has been pretty lousy so far this year, but the doggies don’t seem to mind one bit (my washing machine might not agree with all the towels I’ve been getting through 😱) and we’ve all been having an absolute whale of a time as always 🐾🐾

Absolutely LOVED catching up with this pair of legends yesterday, what a hoot that was!
Haven’t seen so much of our phenomenal furry friends over the past year so it was just amazing to take them out for some crazy capers 🤪
Always have the BEST fun with these two, and pretty sure they enjoyed themselves as well - waddya reckon? 🐕🐕🥳

Goodness me I was so rubbish with my updates last year, kept meaning to post on here as I had so, so many amazing amazing photos of our incredible Waggy Tails friends enjoying themselves but just never seemed to get around to it but I mean to be much better in 2026!
