We’re still here… we’ve just been SOOOOO busy! 🐾✂️🤎

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here lately and haven’t been posting as much as usual. The salon has been incredibly busy behind the scenes, with lots of gorgeous pups keeping us on our toes! 🥰

Here are just a few of the lovely faces we’ve had through the doors recently — from some amazing before & after transformations ✨ to our adorable bath & dry cuties looking fresh, fluffy and smelling beautiful. 🛁🫧

We have lots more gorgeous grooms to share with you, so expect a little photo catch-up over the next few weeks! 📸🐶

✨ 14 years young and look at all that fluff! ✨

Beautiful Narnia came in for a much-needed deshed treatment, and she was an absolute star from start to finish. 🐾🖤

At 14 years old, we always make sure our senior visitors are kept as comfortable as possible, working at their pace and giving them plenty of time when they need it. 🥰

Narnia was so calm and well behaved throughout her pamper — what a lovely girl. 💛

Regular deshedding helps to remove loose, dead coat, keep the skin and coat healthy and can make our older dogs much more comfortable too.

☀️ IMPORTANT HOT WEATHER NOTICE ☀️

With temperatures forecast to exceed 30°C this week and an amber weather warning in place, the welfare of our furry clients is our top priority.

Our salon is fully air-conditioned, and we will be doing everything possible to keep dogs comfortable and cool during their visit. However, we understand that some dogs may struggle with the journey to and from the salon in these extreme temperatures.

If you feel your dog may not cope well in the heat, we are happy to reschedule your appointment with no cancellation fee applied.

🐾 Dogs most at risk during hot weather include:
• Flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds such as Pugs, French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzus and Boston Terriers
• Elderly dogs
• Puppies
• Overweight dogs
• Dogs with heart or respiratory conditions
• Thick-coated and double-coated breeds

🚶‍♂️ Please do not walk your dog to or from the salon.
Where possible, dogs should travel in an air-conditioned vehicle. If travelling by car, ensure good ventilation and never leave your dog unattended in a vehicle, even for a few minutes.

💧 Please ensure your dog has access to fresh drinking water before and after their appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. By working together, we can help keep all of our four-legged friends safe during this period of extreme heat.

❤️ Masha’s First Groom ❤️

This beautiful Romanian rescue visited us for her very first grooming appointment.

Her coat was heavily compacted and required around 3 hours of gentle brushing, with lots of breaks in between to make sure she felt safe and comfortable throughout the process.

For many rescue dogs, grooming isn’t just about the coat. It’s about patience, trust and allowing them to learn that handling can be a positive experience.

By the end of her appointment, Masha was so relaxed she was ready for a nap! 🥰

We’re incredibly proud of how well she did and can’t wait to see her confidence continue to grow.

Miss Coco visited us for her regular full groom and left looking as fluffy and fabulous as ever! ✨

German Spitz coats are beautiful, but they do require regular maintenance to keep them healthy, comfortable and free from tangles. Regular grooming helps remove loose coat, reduce shedding and keeps that gorgeous fluffy appearance looking its best. 🐾

We think Coco wears her fresh groom very well, don’t you? 😍
