26th - 31st May I’m away on holiday. Please note the salon is closed during this time.

📱 All messages will be replied to on an adhoc basis - please bear with me.

🌡️ Just a gentle reminder to keep your dogs cool during these hot temperatures, heat stroke in dogs is seriously dangerous. If your dog is struggling, do not pour cold water all over them, this will make things worse. Put a cold towel around their neck, and provide a cool mat/space for them to cool down. Ice water is not recommended for dogs so provide normal temperate water.

If you want to walk your dog, you should be doing so early hours or late at night. Temperatures above 23 degrees are deemed as high risk to dogs.

🌾Check for grass seeds in both feet and ears now that crops will soon start being cut

✨EXCITING NEWS✨

Something very exciting is happening on 1st June.

Since having to relocate and now independently owning the business, it felt like the right time to have a re-brand.

As of 1st June, Halling Hounds will be known as Countryside Canines, Dog Grooming & Spa 🐾

The policy will also be updated to reflect the new location. Please take five minutes to familiarise yourself with T&Cs once they have been updated - thank you! 🙏🏼

Thank you again to everyone who has continued to support me and this business. It means the world to me knowing I can continue doing what I love 💖

If you have a preferred day or time, I strongly recommend booking your next appointment in advance — or even better, securing your next two appointments to avoid disappointment.

We have some very exciting, but also sad, news to share… 🐾💔

Lauren will be leaving us on 16th April to begin an exciting new chapter as a Trainee Vineyard Manager 🍇🍷

After nearly 10 years of grooming, many of you have been part of Lauren’s journey from the very beginning. While she’s incredibly sad to say goodbye, she leaves knowing you will continue to be looked after by myself. 🐾

I want to take a moment to personally thank Lauren for her hard work, and support in building this business into what it is today. I’ll always be so grateful that you trusted me and believed in our big idea of becoming business partners. It’s grown into something even more special than we imagined, and now it’s giving you the opportunity to follow your dreams.

I know all our customers and friends will join me in wishing you every bit of success and happiness in your new venture. You will be so missed… especially by me! 💖
