✨CUSTOMER NOTICE✨

Please note, I am doing everything I can to keep the salon cool for the dogs appointments over the next few days. I do have air conditioning to try and make it more comfortable and have moved most appointments past 1 o’clock in the afternoon to early mornings to help make everyone more comfortable.

These appointments have been limited as I am also away as of next Thursday so I do apologise, I’m doing my best to get everyone in beforehand.

To help your dog stay cool at home, please provide them with water, a cool/dark place to lay down, cool mats or cold towels and avoid walking them unless temperatures are below 21 degrees to reduce risk of illness from heatstroke.

Take care, and thank you for your patience and being understanding with re-arranging appointments.

Please be aware I am away on the following dates and therefore the salon will be closed.

This means appointments around these times are limited and already being booked up super fast. Therefore, please book in advance your next one or two appointments to avoid disappointment 🐶

26th - 31st May I’m away on holiday. Please note the salon is closed during this time.

📱 All messages will be replied to on an adhoc basis - please bear with me.

🌡️ Just a gentle reminder to keep your dogs cool during these hot temperatures, heat stroke in dogs is seriously dangerous. If your dog is struggling, do not pour cold water all over them, this will make things worse. Put a cold towel around their neck, and provide a cool mat/space for them to cool down. Ice water is not recommended for dogs so provide normal temperate water.

If you want to walk your dog, you should be doing so early hours or late at night. Temperatures above 23 degrees are deemed as high risk to dogs.

🌾Check for grass seeds in both feet and ears now that crops will soon start being cut

Something very exciting is happening on 1st June.

Since having to relocate and now independently owning the business, it felt like the right time to have a re-brand.

As of 1st June, Halling Hounds will be known as Countryside Canines, Dog Grooming & Spa 🐾

The policy will also be updated to reflect the new location. Please take five minutes to familiarise yourself with T&Cs once they have been updated - thank you! 🙏🏼
