A massive shout out to The Gatehouse Vet Centre as always! 💕
Today I had to take our old lady bunny rabbit to be put to sleep. At 8.5 years old she was definitely on the older side.
She’d gone downhill quite rapidly since the weekend and I cannot fault the staff at the vets and it’s one of the reasons I always rave on about them to clients.
They fit me in so quickly, when I called up to ask to be seen quicker as she was getting to the point of suffering they were more than happy to accommodate. Always lovely chatty staff in the waiting room that remember who you are, I caught up with some dogs that I had taught, and I cannot recommend Tim the vet enough.
You’re never rushed, especially as I’m prone to asking a lot of questions, nothing is too much trouble, everything is explained thoroughly and a difficult procedure was made much easier. I especially like how you’re not made to feel just a number, the staff remember who you are and I was asked about Kevin, Nigel and even Phineas (if you know you know!)
