AHCvets

AHCvets Animal Health Certificates for cats, dogs and ferrets in the larger Wrexham area. If you live a bit further away, I may be able to offer a collection point.

To make it less stressful for your pets, it's all done in the comfort of your own home.

Unfortunately I now have no more availability for AHC’s until I come back from my holidays later in May.

26/03/2026

I will be enjoying some time away myself and will be unavailable from 01/05/2026 to 16/05/2026.

Appointments are filling up quickly over the summer as well so don’t wait too long with booking your certificates.

10/02/2026

I will be in Conwy on Tuesday 10/03/2026 at the end of the morning and have some availability for AHC’s.
The cost will be the normal £100 without any extra charge for mileage.

I will be taking some well deserved rest from the 2nd of October to the 18th of October and won’t be available during this period.

17/06/2025

I have some availability further away from Wrexham:
Wednesday morning 10am 25th June: Amlwch area on Anglesey.
Sunday morning 9-11am 13th July: Llandudno.
Saturday morning 10-11:30am 19th July: Abergele area.

So if you live in that area and need an AHC around those dates, I can do home visits at the dates above for the normal price of £100 + £25 per additional animal.

Unlike some other AHC providers, I don’t ask for payment upfront. Especially with the possible change back to passports, this means there is no risk when booking your AHC with me. If passports are brought back before you travel, there is no charge for cancelling the AHC.
I might even look at issuing pet passports when they are introduced again.

20/05/2025

Just to reassure everyone: I will still be issuing animal health certificates as long as they are needed to travel.

It will probably mean the end of my business, but good news for pet owners traveling to the EU with their dogs or cats. It is still very early stages so I have no information of timescales etc.

From eGates and pet passports to the removal of red tape on food sales and the protection of British steel, a new deal has been agreed.
