Until Then Rescue

Until Then Rescue Hi, I'm making it my goal to help as many animals as I can, with the few resources I have.

Unfortunately I do not have my own property, little in funds, and no fosterers as of yet, so my ability to help currently is limited until a property is obtained.

This ferret didn't stay long enough for a name, but I had picked them up from a vets locally as he'd been dumped on their doorstep in an unsecure carrier.

When they brought them inside there was already a hole in the side, so we weren't sure if there was more that had escaped, so I put a call out looking for answers, and thankfully someone messaged to inform me they were a friend of the family that dumped them and that there wasn't anymore than the one ferret. And also the original breeder also contacted me recognising the pictures.

Long story short, the family was going through a difficult time that I won't go into detail here on, but lead to this situation, and the original breeder stepped in to rehouse this little one, and also adopted Coco from us, as we were desperate for her to have a consistent vasectomised male so she wouldn't become ill again.

This is Littlen, he was with us between 13 and 15 days, have very few pictures for some reason, I think Boo Boo was taking the limelight.

But we picked this little guy up from the hospital as well, little thing was weaving through traffic in the car park, barely visible to drivers with his gray colouring.

It was my Mum, brother and a bystander that spotted him, and by the time I made it over they had been there 45 minutes to an hour trying to keep him out of traffic, and the mother gull had just sat on the roof grooming herself, paying hardly any mind.

There was no way to return them to the roof, and the only gull around seemed hardly interested, unlike the usual protective behaviour of most mother gulls, so it was decided he was best coming with us.

He was set up in my go to make shift quarantine enclosure with a wonky mesh top, and a few days on we brought him out to see Boo Boo for company (not without barriers as older gulls attack younger ones).

When arrangements were put in place, we took Littlen down to Nantwich Stapley Rescue, and he was introduced to a group of rescued gulls around his age to later be released with.
