... and the Village Fete is tomorrow! The weather looks fantastic and we're gearing up for a really fantastic day. 🌞 Here's a taste of what you can expect

In the morning Overton will be turned into a Street Market, with about 40 stalls dotted around the Churchyard and Dark Lane (10am to 1pm) All stallholders should have received an email confirming their stall number and location. If you haven't this please call Charlotte on 07960 538089. Set up is from 8.30 and all cars must be away by 9.45 ready for the market to start at 10am.

Then the action moves to the football pitch at 1pm where you can take part in the Overton Olympics. Get a team together and try your hand at the following games:

Ma Baker Bakes Fling the Bagel
Ferdi's Local - Overton Water Challenge
M. E. Evans Eggcellent Endeavour
Overton Playcentre CIO Tin Can Alley and
Overton Bowls Club Target Bowls

Medals and a prize for the winning team!

That's for humans, now for our four legged friends. The Fun Dog Show returns for another year, with Ma Baker (aka Ma Barker for the day) and Carrie from Country Hounds Dog Deli acting as judges, ably assisted by Mike Done as compere! The categories this year are:

“Perkiest” Puppy (3 months to 12 months)
Jolliest Juvenile (12 months – 3 years)
Marvellous Middler (3 – 10 years)
Waggiest Tail 30 second count (All ages)
“Best Trick” – All ages
“Serenest ” Senior 10 years +
Best Young Handler (Humans up to 16)
Naughtiest in show!

Rosettes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places and delicious dog treats.

If you're hungry or thirsty there'll be food and drink aplenty! Our friends at Premium Bar Hire will be serving drinks, you can get coffee and cake from Meet Me In The Morning, ice cream from our very own Woodlands Ice Cream and wood fired pizzas from Wrexham's Nelson's Wood Fired Pizzas

And last but definitely not least there will be a raffle with lots of lovely things to win. Tickets will be £1 a strip and you can buy them from OCC's stall in the morning, or by the dog show registration desk in the afternoon

Who’s coming to see us on Saturday, we’ll be at the Overton Village Fete from 10am with our full range of dogs treats and our limited edition summer range!! 🍓🐶🍓
Then at 2pm we’ll be judging the fun dog show and providing the prizes for the lucky winning dogs! 🐶🐶🐶

We can’t wait to see everyone again!

You'll have seen the posters and banners around the village. Bunting is going up, too, so that can mean only one thing ... Overton Village Fete is nearly upon us! 👏 With the Street Market in the morning, and fun and games in the afternoon on the football pitch there'll be something for everyone to enjoy.

This recipe has been a labour of love 😅 we’ve tried numerous reiterations and have finally achieved what we set out to do! 🥰

Our coconut bites with apple contain just 4 ingredients…Organic Coconut which can boost your pups immune system, Apple Puree produced with apples grown on our smallholding providing vitamin A, vitamin C and dietary fibre. Organic Tapioca Flour and Vegetable Glycerin.

They are gently baked at low temperatures to preserve all the nutrients and create a slightly soft delicious treat your dog is sure to love! 🐶
