With the current outbreak of Parvovirus in Wrexham and the surrounding areas I have compiled some information on how the virus is spread, the most common signs as well as what I have put in place to keep your dogs as safe as possible

‼️ Most importantly if you think your dog is showing symptoms isolate them from all other dogs and call your vets immediately

Been looking for a dog boarder whilst you’re away?

Wrexham council have recently noticed a lot of unlicensed home boarders advertising on social media platforms (follow the link below)

Here is some information on what to look out for before booking, make sure you do all your checks, a reputable and licenced dog boarder will have

🦴A licence with their local council and have their annual checks
🦴 have all relevant insurance
🦴 Safe and secure premises
🦴 Be happy for you to have a look around
🦴 Pet first aid training and a easily accessible first aid kid
🦴 Emergancy measures in place for example what they’d do if a fire was to occur
🦴 Don’t board multiple dogs from muntiple homes together
🦴 Have designated spaces for your dogs to be able to chill/ sleep

Today I’ve seen so many people walking their dog, it’s too hot! Not only is there a high risk of heat stroke but the pavement will also burn their paws 🥵

All walks from 11:00 have been changed to a pop in because your dogs safety if my main priority

I won’t be walking my dogs in this heat so I won’t be walking any clients either 🫶
