❗❗❗PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOGS TO DIG IN THE PARK OR LEAVE YOUR DOGS POO ON THE FIELD❗❗❗
Sadly we have a continuing problem with few dogs being allowed to dig repeatedly during their visit. Although this is very much the minority of our lovely customers it is creating a danger for not only owners who walk in the field but for dogs who love to run around enjoying their freedom.
💩💩Some owners are still not picking up their dog’s poo and we know this is sometimes difficult in wet conditions with long grass but please do try and watch your dog at all times. This is becoming too much of a regular occurrence & should not be left for other users or Gwalia Fields to be picking up after them. 💩💩
Due to the above, we are having to close the field for a couple of days in the next coming weeks to address the problem and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are in the process of installing CCTV, which will help us keep the situation under control going forward for the benefit of everyone.
We are so looking forward to being able to mow and roll the field soon, put some new seating out and for you all to be enjoying the spring sunshine in the park with your dogs. 🐾🐾
Thank you to the field users who regularly put away toys & balls and to those of you who pick up dog mess that others have missed- this all is greatly appreciated and helps towards keeping Gwalia Fields tidy 🫶🏼
