We aim to bring the animal kingdom alive through our educational and inspiring talks and activities. Open to Ribby Hall Village holiday guests and the local community. We offer a day of animal talks and bird displays that are included in your admission. Your admission is a full days pass, so you can come and go, giving your time to explore Ribby Hall Village. Make your day that little bit extra sp

ecial and book for one of our animals encounters, you can choose from Binturong, Arctic Fox, Giant Anteater, Tortoise and Capybara. We also offer Keeper for the Day experiences for those wanting a taste of what it is like to be a zoo keeper. Our work on Bwenanule Crater Lake Wetland Restoration Project is just one of the 1236 conservation projects which took place last year thanks to zoos and aquariums.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿค Our incredible team has worked tirelessly to bring this into fruition and they have achieved so much so far.....

๐Ÿ’šWorking in collaboration with to achieve this project.
๐Ÿ’š Support of the local farmers to restore the crater land.
๐Ÿ’š Set up a tree nursery to propagate native and endemic plant species.
๐Ÿ’š Started planting trees and seen growth in the first 12 months.
๐Ÿ’š Conducted a benchmark survey of the current flora and fauna.

We are looking a Keeper and Retail Assistant to support the team over the busy summer period.

Our work on The Ugandan Bee Project is just one of the 1236 conservation projects which took place last year, and continues thanks to BIAZA zoos and aquariums.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’šOur incredible team has worked tirelessly to bring this into fruition, here are some highlights of what the team has achieved so far....

๐ŸŒOver 120 farmers have beehives installed to help prevent human-wildlife conflict.
๐ŸŒA skills co-operative has been created o support the project.
๐ŸŒA ladies chicken group has been established to support families that have lost family members to human-wildlife conflict.
๐ŸŒA factory is being built to process excess honey for sale to local's and tourists.
๐ŸŒA children's information booklet about the project aims has been produced and distributed to over 1000 school children in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda.
