Congratulations to clinic nurse Sophie who has recently been promoted to lead nurse. Well done Sophie!

Sophie is pictured here with pretty Poppy who joined us for her senior MOT yesterday.

Our senior MOT's are performed once a year by our nursing team and are for all patients subscribed to a senior membership plan. We recommend this plan to all cats over 7 years of age.

They are an essential way of picking up on senior health conditions which may otherwise go unnoticed and include the following;

Urine analysis
Comprehensive blood screening
Blood pressure check
Intraocular pressure test (eyes)
Dental check up

Our senior plans start at £22.95 a month.

We’d like to let our clients with appointments on Friday, 26th September and Monday, 29th September know that essential electrical work will be taking place in the clinic.

This may cause some temporary disruption in certain areas, including Reception and Consult Rooms 1 & 2.

These improvements are part of upgrading our systems so that we can continue to provide the very best care for your pets.

Lovely senior kitizen Sabina came to see us this morning for her annual health examination and vaccination booster.
Sabina is usually quite a nervous cat but she had a relaxed visit this morning thanks to our ‘Happy Kitty Kit’ calming travel pack, a good supply of cat treats and fresh catnip picked this morning 😻

Congratulations to registered veterinary nurse Kate, who this month celebrates 40 years of working in the veterinary industry. Kate started her first veterinary role in 1985 as a trainee veterinary nurse and has been at Cat's Whiskers since 2017. There is very little Kate does not know about cats!

Kate is closely followed by Lulu at 32 years and Amanda at 25 years.

We are super excited to be welcoming another very experienced new team member next month so watch this space for further updates!
