This weeks summer activity was Thursday dressage day!🏅
We had another fully booked day of all ages and abilities of riders! The morning started with competition prep. 1st was the tack, all striped, cleaned and leathered followed by the horses and ponies. Cleaned, brushed and platted up ready for their tests🧽 Mid morning was a test run through for each of the riders. Each given pointers as to what to think about when it came to their turn! A much needed drink and refuel for both human and equines before the afternoon competitions started! Abi and Albert joined us for a ridden demo over lunch, showing our riders the accuracy, transitions and points our judge would be looking for! Then it was over to them! One by one each rider gave it their best at the test, being judged and cheered on every step of the way by each other. We had a brilliant afternoon joined by so many friends, family and staff enjoying the sunshine and fun! A massive well done to all 3 teams who gave it their all coming away with some great scores and rosettes🏆
Our horses and ponies looked after every rider impeccably, really giving it their all some even busting out more moves than needed!🐴
