‼️IMPORTANT NOTICE – EQUINE INFLUENZA‼️

With the increase in cases of equine influenza across the country, we are taking the following steps with immediate effect for all competitions at Merrist Wood, both affiliated and unaffiliated, as advised by British Showjumping and British Dressage.

• Passports will be checked on arrival. All horses must be up to date on their influenza vaccinations. Any lapsed/unvaccinated horses/forgotten passports, will not be allowed on site, and no refunds will be given if you are turned away.
• Passports should be presented to secretary BEFORE the horse is unloaded for dressage. For showjumping/clear round, passports will be checked on arrival in car park.
• When parking, please keep an adequate distance, there is plenty of overflow parking if needed
• Please do not wait around on the walkways by the arenas or bring round any horse that is not ready to warm up. Stewards will be monitoring the warm up. After competing please return to car park.
• If you are attending a clinic, please present passport to Instructor before unloading
• Day stables will not be available to book for competitions for the time being.
• There is no access through the college yard for either horses or pedestrians. Access to all arenas is now between indoor and new building.
• Hand sanitisers will be available.
