Little Owl Farm Park, Worcestershire Set in 18 acres of farmland near Ombersley in Worcestershire We have foxes, pheasants and even some mischievous Meerkats.

Little Owl Farm Park is a recently renovated, family run educational farm park, offering not only an educational experience, but also a fun packed day out for all the family. Situated on the outskirts of Ombersley, Worcestershire, this brand new attraction offers a great trip out for young and old. We have lots of exciting and unusual animals waiting to meet you and who want to show you their home

s and personalities. We also have a half mile ramble course where you will find even more of our farm animals in the paddocks, including Reindeer and Rhea, you may even see a buzzard nesting in the Little Wood. But not to fear, if the Great British weather is up to its usual tricks, we have plenty going on indoors; 3 animal barn’s with all your farm yard favourites including newly hatched chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs plus sandpits, pedal tractors and a brand new soft play area. There is also a cafeteria and seating area for refreshments or tasty meals for your long days out.

Last week, our Little Owl Explorers Home Ed group enjoyed role-playing in our very own Farmers' Market 👨‍🌾

Each child was given '£20' and was able to choose what they would like to buy from the market. They then had to work out how much change they would need. This was followed by a trip to the Petting Barn, where the children learnt about tally charts and worked together to record how many different animals live there. They even got to meet two pygmy goat kids who had been born the night before! 🐐

This week, our learning focus is 'Stories on the Farm'. The children will be able to choose an animal and write a short story about their chosen animal. We cannot wait to hear their stories! 📖

No kidding - yesterday, Eve our Pygmy goat surprised us with a set of twin girls a few days early! 😱

They have been named Elouise and Penelope and after some TLC from the animal care team they are both doing brilliantly 🐐

Well, what a hot half term we have been treated to this week! ☀️
