A wood burner-effect gas fire adds a touch of warmth that’s sure to be a hit with the hounds. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for culinary adventures, and the dining table provides an intimate setting for a delightful dinner.

The bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a stable door leading to the side deck – ideal for indulging in a leisurely morning lie-in accompanied by the sounds of the ocean. Outside, dine al fresco under the stars in the pergola on one of the two spacious decked areas seamlessly connected to the living spaces.

The side deck off the bedroom features loungers that convert to a bed, while the front deck provides the perfect setting to watch the sunset with Fido by your side. Please note that this property has an uneven access path.

Venture along the coastal path to explore picturesque fishing villages such as Port Wrinkle (4.5 miles) and Cawsand (2.5 miles), with spectacular clifftop scenery along the way. Below the property, the RNLI-monitored beaches await, welcoming four-legged friends year-round, making it an ideal spot for swimmers, surfers, and walkers, accessible via a steep 500-metre stroll.

It’s been another wonderful week full of happy pups, muddy paws, wagging tails, and plenty of smiles all round 💛🐶

This week has been a little cooler and wetter compared to the week before, which many of the dogs have absolutely loved! We've enjoyed plenty of fresh-air adventures, splashing through puddles, exploring new scents, and making the most of the great outdoors together 🐾🌦️

No matter the weather, it’s always a joy spending time with your gorgeous dogs and seeing their excitement for every walk.

This is a wonderful circular route in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that begins in Charlbury and visits the River Evenlode and Wychwood Forest,

This route may be muddy after rain so waterproof shoes are recommended. Dogs are also welcome on this route. Make sure to stop by a local pub or cafe in town after your walk!

Steeped in character, this beautifully appointed property features a leafy patio garden and is set in the historic village of Montacute.

This exquisite country escape is perfect for couples or solo travellers and their waggy-tailed travel companion. Those with a nose for culture can peruse the groomed grounds of Lytes Cary (9 miles) – do remember to pack the lead! Back at base, stretch weary paws in the roar of the crackling wood burner while the humans toast with a tipple.

This elegant cottage boasts a striking blend of ornate original features and contemporary twists. Enjoy exposed stonework, rustic wooden beams, rich champagne tones, and plush furnishings.

Unclip harnesses at the door then venture into the inviting lounge/kitchen/diner. Portion out some snacks in the bright shaker kitchen with a hungry hound pottering by your feet. On balmy evening, prop open the stable door and let Fido snuffle in the summer air. Slide into the beach-style seating to devour an afternoon tea spread or to blether over a glass of wine. When night falls, be beckoned into the wonderfully cosy lounge by the flickering fire.

Stretch out on the plump sofa while your pup dozes by the fire. Retreat upstairs to find an immaculate en-suite king room with tranquil countryside views. Indulge in a restorative soak in the roll-top copper tub before slipping into the crisp linens. After a dewy morning saunter, perch in the courtyard with a coffee while your four-pawed pal scoffs some breakfast.

Sniff out one of the pubs in Sherborne (10 miles) that warmly welcome four-pawed patrons, or get tails wagging during a blustery saunter along Golden Cap (23.5 miles) Furry beach babes can crash through foaming waves and scamper across the pebbly shoreline of Charmouth Beach (25 miles).

It’s been another wonderful week full of happy pups, muddy adventures, wagging tails, and plenty of smiles all round 💛🐶

Last week’s heat made for some very warm walks, so we made sure the dogs stayed safe and comfortable with plenty of shade, water, slower strolls, and lots of rest breaks 🐾☀️

We’ve loved getting out and about with your gorgeous dogs and enjoying the sunshine together.

Stanton, Snowshill, and Stanway Circular

This is a lovely countryside trail taking in woodland and farmland paths between Stanton, Snowshill, and Stanway via Littleworth Wood and Lidcombe Wood.
There are also historic sites along the way where you can extend your day out. This includes Snowshill Manor and Garden, St Barnabas Church, Stanway House, and the Church of St Michael.

Take care on the rougher sections, especially in wetter conditions when the paths become muddy and slippery, and along the roads. Appropriate footwear is required.
