Did some basic foundation work with this young lady today. To be fair her basics werent bad to start with, just a bit of tweaking and emphasising certain aspects. Lovely natural retriever, loves life, just like pups should.
All in all a good quality session with a delightful pup, what's not to like ? 😀

Bit different today. Two litter brothers. Many people advise against taking on two siblings. I dont have a problem with it , however, the work has to be put in and it can be time consuming. Although brothers they have different personalities and as you would expect they tend to feed off each other.
Started with each separately working on the basics and at the end had them both together. Quick learners that reacted in the right way and surpassed even my time scale for a first session.
I hadn't planned on having them together quite so soon but they were so keen to please they progressed quickly.
The change in focus was impressive.

Introduction with this girl. Didnt have the most straightforward start in life but in a good place now with great owners. Initially all about improving focus, which is all important as you wont get far without it. Really good girl, picked things up quickly and a very willing pupil. Bit of homework for her owner and onwards and upwards 😀

I know I've said it before but I love getting them at this age. They learn so quickly, this pup literally picked things up in minutes. Good to start the right way.
