Witham View Veterinary Surgery is an independent small animal practice owned and run by two vets (Dr Avril Marriott and Dr Nicola Williams) with over 20 years of combined experience. We are situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Woodhall Spa, with a modern well equipped surgery and plentiful on-site parking.​

We are a friendly and approachable team with a passion to keep your pet happy

and healthy. Our surgery is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and above all caring staff to provide excellent support for your pet. If your pet would prefer a visit at home we are happy to arrange this for you and ​we provide our own out-of-hours service to ensure that there is a familiar face when you need it most.

We wanted to make you aware of a significant change to the pet travel scheme that will take effect from tomorrow (22nd April).

Below are the guidance notes from APHA.
The guidance states:
"An EU pet passport, issued to or held by a pet owner who is resident in GB, will no longer be a valid document for travelling with pets from GB to the EU. This applies to EU pet passports issued in an EU Member State or Northern Ireland, including
those issued before 22 April 2026. EU pet passports may only be issued to owners whose main residence is within the European Union "

Therefore, owners who want to travel with their dog or cat to Europe, and whose main residence is in the UK, must get an AHC to travel- they can NOT use an EU pet passport.

AHCs need to be issued less than 10 days before travel

****MISSING CAT**** The black female cat, pictured below, has been missing from the Lancaster Way Woodhall Spa area since the evening of Thursday 26th March. If anyone has any information that may help reunite her with her owner please call the Surgery on 01526 268060

It is with great sadness that a ginger male entire cat has been bought in to the practice today. Unfortunately deceased but not chipped for us to reunite with the owner. He was found on the corner of Witham and Alexandra Road. If anyone has any information then please contact us.
