As 2025 comes to an end, all at Canine Company would like to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your love and ongoing support this past year.
We feel honoured to be chosen to care for your much loved pets and thank you for allowing us to be part of your familys as you are ours.
Your pups bring unbridled love and laughter to us every day and we truly cherish them all.
It is over 8 years since we opened our doors full of hope and expectation. We could never have imagined the joy that was in store. Many of our pups have been with us throughout and we can’t thank you enough for your loyalty.
Sadly, when Dave and I embarked on this adventure we didn’t fully consider the impact that loss within our Day Care family, both people and dogs, would have.
This year we have again experienced some terrible losses. We send love to the families whose loved ones have passed. They have been sudden, slow, local and distant. Husbands, Wives, Mothers, Fathers, Sisters and Brothers have been taken too soon. Our love goes to all of those affected. You and your loved ones are always in our thoughts and hearts.
Neither did we fully appreciate the pain we would share with our extended family when illness, injury or death visited their beloved pups.
On March 9th, the beautiful Taz, our warrior Bulldog, crossed Rainbow Bridge after a cruel illness finally took its toll. He battled valiantly, never lost the twinkle in his eye and has left a massive void in the lives of everyone who knew him. Sleep easy Good Boy ❤️.
On May 16th, our darling Frenchie, Lulu was taken so suddenly that it left everyone reeling. She was the sweetest, most gentle little girl that stole everyone’s heart as soon as they met her. She gave love unconditionally and gave and enjoyed the best cuddles. God was certainly missing an angel on the day he took Lulu home. Fly high Baby Girl ❤️
On August 19th, our beloved Rolo, a true Frenchie through and through, passed far too young following a devastating injury.
Rolo was joy and love wrapped in fur!! He was cheeky and cute and loved nothing more than his box of toys, especially his stuffed burger. We miss you so much Little Lad ❤️
Dogs spend such a short time in our lives yet have such a massive impact. They leave such deep paw prints in our hearts. Every minute spent with them is to be cherished and we thank you for your kindness in sharing such precious moments with us.
Our wish is for 2026 to be a wonderful year for our clients and FB followers alike. May it bring peace, health, happiness and prosperity to all of you, comfort to those who are mending broken hearts and courage to those who meet challenges along the way. As Christmas Day comes to an end for 2024, Canine Company would like to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your love and support for our business over this past year.
We feel truly blessed to have the honour of caring for your much loved pets.
They bring joy and laughter to us each day and we cherish them all. We have been open for over 7 years now and many of our pups have been with us throughout. Sadly, earlier this year we experienced our first losses within our daycare family.
Our elder statesman Harry was the first loss we suffered with his wonderful Mum Janine, who gave him the very best life. The relationship they shared was a joy to behold and an honour to share. Harry may have been aging but he had the heart of a lion and the oldest soul ❤️ His passing left a huge empty space in our hearts and his absence is keenly felt every day.
Nothing could have prepared us for the sudden passing of darling (Princess) Molly 🩷 who could light up a room within minutes and was truly exceptional in her beauty. She was taken far, far too young and we still miss her terribly every day (my roadtrip best buddy who was always by my side for her “taxis”).
We think of and keep in our hearts always, Molly’s devoted Mum and Dad, Wendy and Carl with eternal sympathy for them in their sorrow.
This serves as a harsh reminder, that these fabulous creatures called dogs, spend such a short time in our lives yet make such a massive impact. They certainly leave deep paw prints in our hearts. Every moment we spend with them is a gift and we thank you for your generosity in sharing those precious moments with us.
Our wish is for 2025 to be a wonderful year for our clients and FB followers alike. May it bring health, happiness and prosperity to all of you and courage and comfort to those who meet challenges along the way. With love and gratitude from Lorna, Dave and all at Canine Company ❤️

❤️ For Valentine’s Day this year we asked our Day Care pups if they would forgo their “treats” and instead, send a donation to Friends of Birkenhead Kennels ( https://www.fobk.org.uk/donate )so that the lovely staff there could spoil the pups in their care. Their “spokesperson” Rufus came back with a resounding yes, just as we knew they would 😘. It really is easy to donate and it is a great way to show the wonderful staff who work there that we truly appreciate all that they do, especially in the difficult times of the moment ❤️

As 2023 ends and a New Year begins we want to thank each of you, not only for the wonderful loyalty and support you have shown to our small family business, but also for the precious friendships we have developed. We truly feel privileged to care for your pups and thank you sincerely for entrusting us with them.
We think of them, and you, as our extended family and we have been with you for both your highs and sadly some lows this past year.
Here’s hoping that 2024 is a good year and brings good health, peace and happiness to all. Many thanks again to you, our friends, the Canine Company Family ❤️

Hello everyone.
As Christmas is once again upon us please let me introduce you to, our Canine Company, Christmas Angel, Taz.
I’m sure you will agree that he is a really beautiful boy. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog and an absolute joy to care for. As are all the pups who join us daily for love and fun.
We want to say a massive thank you to all of our clients for letting us share in the lives of your wonderful pets. We consider it a real privilege and long may it continue.
Thanks also, to you, our “extended family”, for your continued custom, loyalty, support and friendship over the past year. We can’t believe that we are now in our seventh year and each one just keeps getting better.
We would like to wish you all a peaceful & joyous Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.
And of course, a huge thankyou to, our most devilishly handsome, Day Care poster boy, Taz ❤️

At Canine Company, we believe that Dog Day Care is about creating a beautiful space with an atmosphere of tranquility, where every dog feels loved, secure, enriched and contented. In short, we are an extension of their home and their family. To balance the exuberance of seeing and playing with their friends, both human and furry, we ensure that they are able to, and do, rest adequately. It is really very rewarding when quite naturally they settle themselves in peaceful harmony 💜

This beautiful soul is leaving us today for a wonderful new job with Mencap. They are very lucky to have found her. Stacey has been a lovely employee and our dogs all love her (nearly as much as we do!!). She has walked the dogs, in the secure field at Ivy Kennels, virtually every day she’s worked. Come hail, rain or shine she made sure they had a great time.
She shared the very best cuddles with the pups back in the Centre too.
Thank you for being you Stacey and good luck in all you do 💗
