- He is just under 5 months old
- A confident boy who has shown interest in the girls.

He would ideally suit a flock of his own with no other cockerels.
He's a lovely handsome boy who deserves girls of his own and a lovely home 🏠

We have this lovely little pair of Black Mottled Pekins growing on beautifully here at Crescent Poultry!

🐓 1 cockerel
🐔 1 pullet

They're still happily tucked in with mom, who hasn't decided she's had enough of them just yet! 😂
So for now, they're enjoying being babied by mum and growing up together.
We've also included a photo of their parents so you can see some of the breeding group which they come from. 🥰

🐣✨ A little look at yesterday's hatch!
We had another busy hatch day here at Crescent Poultry, and these little cuties are now one day old 🥹❤️

There's something so special about seeing them go from tiny little eggs to these curious, fluffy chicks in such a short space of time and it never gets old 🥰

Chick season definitely isn't slowing down here... 😂🫣

We've got two handsome Crested Cream Legbar boys looking for their new flocks!

🐔 17 weeks old
A lovely, confident boy who is growing into a really handsome cockerel used to people and is friendly

🐔 12 weeks old
A younger lad who's growing beautifully, he's got plenty of growing left to do and is very friendly

Both boys have been raised here at Crescent Poultry, handled regularly and are looking for homes where they'll be well cared for and appreciated. ❤️

🥚✨ Hatch day is finally here! ✨🐣

There's nothing quite like opening the incubator and seeing those fluffy faces looking back at you. ❤️

So far we've welcomed 8 healthy chicks into the world, with more eggs still to hatch over the next day or so.
Every hatch is exciting, and it's amazing to watch these little ones make their entrance. 🥰

We'll be keeping a close eye on the incubator and can't wait to see how many more hatch🐥

🦃 Just over a year ago, Betty's story with us began. ❤️

Just over a year ago, Betty came to Crescent Poultry in need of a little extra TLC. She'd gone off her legs and we weren't sure what the future would hold for her.

With plenty of care, patience, and time, she slowly started to improve. Within just a few weeks, she was back up on her feet, becoming stronger every day.
Fast forward a year, and if you met Betty today, you'd never believe she ever struggled. She's full of life, loves spending time with the flock, and has become such a special part of our family🥰

Looking back at where she started makes us so proud of how far she's come. Sometimes all an animal needs is a chance, a bit of patience, and someone willing to believe in them. ❤️

🐓 Looking for new homes 🏡❤️
These two handsome boys are now 14 weeks old and ready to find flocks of their own.

🐔 Boy 1:
He is a little more laid back, happy to take life at his own pace, but just as friendly once he gets to know you. He's a lovely, calm lad with plenty of character. He acts like he's a big boy when really he's just a little baby. Again he pretends he's too grown up for fuss but once you pick him up he's quite content in your hands. Generally quiet boy but he's definitely got confidence and the girls seem to love him.

🐔 Boy 2:
He is always the first to come over and see what you're doing. He's confident, friendly, and loves being involved in everything that's going on. He's a very chatty boy who loves to eat grass and leaves (any greens really) second he gets a treat he'll run around chatting his little head off telling everyone what he's got and what they haven't.
Acts like he doesn't like fuss but the second you pick him up he'll fall asleep in your arms.

Both of these boys have been handled regularly, are healthy, have lovely temperaments and have been raised with lots of care.

I'd love to see them go to homes where they'll be appreciated just as much as they have been here at Crescent Poultry🐓
