The Centre is located at the rear of Gardenlands Garden Centre, situated within the beautiful countryside outside the bustle of Wolverhampton. Gardenlands offers restaurant facilities as well as gardening supplies and outdoor furniture. The Centre does not provide disabled

access at this time due to the lack of paths or even ground, but we are looking to make the entire site wheelchair-friendly in the future. Come see our collection of more than 50 Owls, Hawks and Falcons from over 20 species. Daily flying display at around 3:00 pm (7 days a week- weather permitting). Ask about our Hawk walks, bird experiences and sponsorship. (Gift vouchers available)

Visit Pets Corner to see the Meerkats, Chinchillas, Chipmunks, Rabbits (who currently have babies), Rats and of-course our beloved baby Raccoons! Down on the Farm, you can see our Goats, Sheep (Lulu the lamb is all grown up!), Pig, Poultry, Donkeys and Llama. You can buy food to feed the farm for £1 from the entrance. Entrance charge is for the whole day so look around the rest of the craft village and return for another look at these magnificent creatures.

What a day it's been !!! Daisy our gorgeous donkey had her foal yesterday. A lovely pure black filly who is so cute you could munch her. Her name is Phoenix and she's sticking close to mum at the moment but they are well at home in their new stable full of everything they need.

This is my own little beauty. Meet Willow, who is an American Barn Owl. Being American he's obviously bigger by an inch at least and certainly heavier than his British counterpart. But - we won't let that dim the pleasure of teaching this little darling to fly to me.

The children break up from school this week so why not pay us a visit at our new site at Gardenlands Garden Centre. We have the most adorable baby rabbits, baby raccoons and a whole host of other cute animals that the children can get up close and personal with. We have toilet facilities on site and there is a cafe in the Garden Centre so why not pay us a visit soon.

Say hello to the new owl babies. We have an adorable pair of Great Grey Owls which we will be training to fly in a display. These owls when fully grown have a wingspan of about 55 inches so will look magnificent in flight. Then we have the sweetest American Barn Owl which is slightly larger than our British Barn Owl and then we have a very cross looking owl who does not look like he takes any prisoners !!

If any of our friends fancy a lovely day out why not pop along to the Plough at Trysull on Saturday 18th July between 12 and 6pm. It's re-opening under new management and they have all sorts of fun things lined up for families to do. Just want to thank Wrockwardine Garden Club for inviting us to give a talk on our animals. It was a great evening and we had Helen talking about Fudge, a buzzard, Sophie talking about snakes, Larry talking about Sky, a common Buzzard and Jay talking about Racoons. Oh and not forgetting the boss who talked on.... and on.... and on......about everything else, We had Theo the European Cinnamon fox cub running around the hall and I think the audience really enjoyed holding and petting all the animals we took so if you know anyone or a club of some sort who would like us to come along with our animals we would be more than happy to do so.

Oakie our beloved Barn Owl just loves his flying sessions and this weather, albeit great for us humans, is not so great for owls so our little birdie needs to keep cool so he gets a nice cool spray every day which he loves. He then spends the next few hours sorting his feathers out ready to fly again. He scrubs up well does our Oakie.
