Good evening Millbrook followers! My name is Chip and I've just arrived here. Seems nice so far! I came with my friends Solero and Twister. We arrived in the heat wave...you wouldn't guess by our names 😜 I was in a bit of a sorry state when I arrived and I was covered in mats where no one was grooming me 😥. I'm only 10 months old and haven't seen much in the way of care but these guys have given me a hair cut and they've showered me in kisses!! However, now I'm all nicely clipped you can see my pink skin and with the weather being so unpredictable the staff think I need a fly rug and a light weight rug to keep me dry and safe from the sun. Turns out I'm too small for any rugs they have here so I suppose this post is to firstly introduce myself but to also ask if anyone has any rugs in the size 3"6ft or 3"9ft..just whilst I grow. When I'm big I will be in a more 'normal' size apparently! There is an Amazon wish list that one of my new Aunties has added some rugs to that may fit but if any horsey friends already have a spare that they don't need that would be amazing!

We have a young, male crossbreed in need of a foster home. Charlie is looking for a family where someone is at home most of the day to help him settle. His fosterers need to like walks, games and training as Charlie is really clever and enjoys learning new things.

Our paper shed is officially bursting at the seams! Thanks to your generosity, our storage space for shredded paper is completely full. 🗞️📦
❌ We cannot accept any shredded paper donations at this time. ❌
Our small animals have plenty of cozy bedding for now, and we simply have no room left to store more. 🐹🐰

Sydney has had it tough recently. When she came into our care she was underweight, had fur loss, was covered in fleas and was anaemic. She is a strong lady and is now back to good health and ready for a new home. Sydney recently had a day at a staff members house and did really well considering she was somewhere new. Sydney is looking for an experienced home with someone who is used to working breeds. She needs someone who can match her busy personality but also help her to relax and discover the joys of quiet time.

Milo was a lucky chap. He had an afternoon out with one of our amazing volunteers. He had a walk in the woods, watched a bit of cricket and stopped off in a quiet cafe. Milo is looking for an experienced dog owning family. He is a lovely chap but this is just the first chapter of his story. He needs a new family to help write the rest of his tale.
