Great news!
UNESCO has inscribed Portuguese Equestrian 🐎Art on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This celebrates the legacy of the 18th-century Royal Stables and the Lusitano horses bred at Coudelaria de Alter, founded by King João V. The Portuguese School of Equestrian Art keeps this heritage alive through its traditions, costumes, and training.
This recognition follows a joint application by the Portuguese Association of Purebred Lusitano Horse Breeders, Parques de Sintra, and the Município de Golegã

Finally - Albion Saddlemakers Co. Ltd day! One of the most beloved saddles in the UK 🤍 I ride in one and I constantly see one with my clients and colleagues. It was a fantastic day learning about the research that’s been done about the riders seat, upgrades in the saddles and their range. Guys, be ready for a photo bomb! It’s been a year since I’ve officially qualified as a saddle fitter, and it’s still one of the best decisions I’ve made ❤️ but there’s been a cherry on the cake 🍒 - I’ve been invited to the Saddlery Show Case 2025. It was a spectacular event where I received an official recognition from Equine Fitters Directory . It is an independent non profit company, established by the Worshipful Company of Loriners. In my profession it means the world to me!
It is a great honour to be a part of it and I am forever grateful to my academy - International Academy of Saddle Fitters 🤍 You’ve opened the door to a whole new world, full of knowledge and support. The best part was seeing my tutors again and receiving my diploma from the hands of Lisa Fay and Williams Fox Pitt ❤️
