I'm now on maternity leave as my baby is due any day now.
Amber and Olivia have been training hard over the last 6 months and have now taken over the Salon for my current clients. They have done a brilliant job on their first week without me.
I am privileged to have 2 wonderful ladies taking care of my lovely clients.
I'll post again once my baby arrives.

Coronavirus Update :

It is with a heavy heart I am closing my salon to respect the Government advice issued on 23/03/20. I will return to work when we are advised it is safe to do so.

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTY BREATHING, COUGH, HIGH TEMPERATURE, HAVE BEEN ABROAD RECENTLY, OR ARE SELF ISOLATING IN ACCORDANCE TO GOVERNMENT OR NHS GUIDELINES

IF IN ANY DOUBT PLEASE REARRANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT

It is a worrying time at the moment for everyone.

PLEASE READ our current plans at Woodland Dog Grooming with regards the welfare of you, your dog and us.

When coming into the Salon we request that you do the following:

1.If you fall into the vulnerable category, where possible get someone else to bring your dog into the salon.

2.Only ONE person brings your dog into the Salon.

3. Only ONE person in the reception area at any time.

4. Avoid touching the counter top or anything in the salon

5. Pay online when possible

6. Keep the time you are in the salon to a minimum

7. Make new appointments via text message

*If you prefer us to collect and deliver your dog to your car, so you avoid entering the salon, please ask*

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

What we are doing to minimise the risk:

1. We are all washing our hands frequently.
2.We are using alcohol-based hand sanitiser between clients
3.We are routinely disinfecting all door handles
4.We are keeping contact time to a minimum and keeping a safe distance from all clients.
5.We are using a disinfectant which kills ‘enveloped’ viruses (a group of viruses the Vets have advised us they believe Covid-19 to belong to)
6.We are continuing to clean the salon to a high standard, which we always do.

If there is anything else, we can be doing to minimise risk, please let us know how we can work with you.

So what do we make of this? My own dog climbs into the washing basket at work! ! Is she really missing having a wash that much!!! It's only been a week!!
