We are a small professional groomers established over 15 years. We offer one to one care with a named groomer of your choice. Focusing on finding a style to suit you, your dog and your lifestyles. Bathing, clipping, handstripping and nail clipping and ultrasound teeth cleaning.

Archie and Molly came in for their usual groom but the hot weather and dry ground had taken a toll on their little feet. Their owner chose our paw and nose balm add on to give an extra boost of hydration and the pair seemed to love the extra bit of tlc.

Stella came in today for her fist full groom and found it all a bit tiring. She had done her puppy introductions by herself but came in with her big brother Freddie today and actually gave him a bit of confidence and he’s always found grooming a little bit worrisome. We think they make a perfect pair.

Even short coated dogs benefit from a good professional groom❤️

She’ll feel a lot cooler too with all that dead coat now safely in the bin where it belongs 🗑️

Monty was practicing his camouflage skills in the hope of avoiding the dryer. Unfortunately for him, we could still see his tail wagging and carried on with the groom. Better luck next time Monty!

The sun must have gotten to us ☀️
Thank goodness the weather is a bit more reasonable now.
But rest assured, we are ready in case the temperature rises again and our air con is keeping everyone cool in the salon 😎

💕 Lovely Mabel came to see Sharon this week. She is used to having Chloe (who we are all missing 😢 ) groom her but she was wonderful for Sharon and looks very happy with the results 🥰

🥶 Just chilling at Wren House Dog Groomers

Bonnie and Clyde have had their bath and are now just relaxing before styling 😎
The temperature is a very pleasant 19 degrees and we are VERY grateful for our air conditioning 🧊

Stella found stage 2 of her puppy introductions so relaxing that she needed a little nap💖
We intentionally keep puppy sessions short because it does take a lot out of them.
Stage one is a half hour session to get them used to the sights, sound and feels of the salon. We also give a little face, feet, nail and hygiene trim if they can cope with it.
Stage two is about a hour for a dog of Stella’s size. It includes a review of all of the above as well as a bath and brush through.
We always make sure they are physically and emotionally capable of a full groom, and the extra time it needs, before moving on to styling💕

Monty’s mum keeps him on a lovely regular schedule to keep his coat in fabulous condition💗
Milo also shares this schedule to keep him tip top shape and the pair always make us smile when little and large pass each other on the way out💗
