So, West Oxfordshire District Council's Waste Management team has successfully forced me into becoming even greener... and, to be fair, it's probably for the best! 🌱🐶

As a result, we've made a few eco-friendly changes:

✅ All dog food must now be provided in recyclable plastic tubs with sealable lids, which I can hopefully return to you empty. This helps reduce packaging waste. Any packaging that arrives with your dog will need to leave with your dog too!

✅ All correspondence is now cloud-based or by telephone. No more paper letters cluttering up the place.

✅ All dog hair is now recycled in-house using one of our seven enclosed composting bins. Nothing goes to waste!

The result?

WODC has officially closed the case. 🎉

Who knew a waste investigation would turn into an environmental success story.

🎉🐾 2026 Pricing Update 🐾🎉

As we wag our tails into the New Year, we wanted to let you know that after much thought (and a few guilty puppy-dog eyes), we’ve reluctantly made the decision to increase our overnight boarding rate to £40 per night from 2026. The good news? Longer stays will receive a discount 🦴✨

Our daycare rate is staying put at £30 — no changes there! 🎈

Thank you for being part of our wonderful dog-loving family and for your continued support throughout the year. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

A Christmas Thank You to Our Wonderful Doggies & Humans

To all our gorgeous grooming and daycare doggies (and their lovely families) at Cassington Dog Grooming & Daycare 💛

We just want to say the biggest thank you for your support, kindness and loyalty this year.
It has honestly been the toughest year on record for us, and some days have been really hard — but every wagging tail, muddy paw, happy bounce through the door and trusting cuddle has kept us going.

You are more than customers to us — you are part of our Cassington dog family 🐶✨
We feel incredibly lucky to spend our days with so much personality, chaos, fluff and love.

We’re closing the gates for Christmas with full hearts, festive cheer and a lot of gratitude, and we can’t wait to see you all on the other side in the New Year for more grooming, daycare fun and tail-wagging adventures.

Have the most wonderful Christmas filled with treats, naps and walks (and maybe a bit of mischief 😉).
