Good afternoon one and all ☺️

Just wanted to let you know I’m having phone issues 🤦🏽‍♀️ well specifically messenger issues. On our business page the messages are coming through but no images and my private account the messages don’t come through immediately 🙄 IF I do not get back to you within half an hour please call or text my mobile just in case the messages are floating in the sky 🤣 I keep getting loads of messages arriving all at the same time but the time on each message could be hours earlier.

After seeing people walk their dogs in this heat I thought I would share this post. It’s far too hot to be thinking about walking your dogs but if you do feel the need I suggest you wear a fur coat and take your shoes off 😜

We have adjusted our routine to try and keep the dogs as cool as possible, they are nice and relaxed and not under any stress. The air conditioning units are all on and the pools are full, you might be away so why can’t your doggies have some fun 🤪

On a serious note though in these temperatures you have to be careful with your furry friends and keep them cool and safe.

❗️A desperate plea from the Sandhole Team❗️

It is hot, not just hot but hot hot! And it is set to get even hotter this weekend.

We love the summer but every year we have to treat dogs with heat stroke and sadly many don't make it. Yep it's not a social media myth, dogs die from heat stroke!

Now it's not just dogs but other animals too, like rabbits and guinea pigs, who's hutches are left in the sun all day.

Please, please, please if you need to walk your dog, do it before 8am and after 8pm. And if in doubt, don't bother walking them at all in this weather.

Please move your guinea pigs and rabbits inside, a nice cool bathroom can work as a temporary home.

We want everyone to enjoy this beautiful weather, so please keep your pets safe.

🐾 Busy Weekend in the Kennels! 🐾

It’s a full house here this weekend and we’re loving all the wagging tails and happy faces! 🐶🐾

We’re so thankful to have our air conditioning units working hard in all the kennel blocks — keeping every dog cool (and us🥵), comfy and relaxed during this warm spell ☀️❄️

A big thank you to all our amazing customers for choosing us — we truly love caring for your furry family members! ❤️
