📍NOTICE📍

I am now ⭐ FULLY BOOKED ⭐ until I go off on maternity leave at the end of July. This means I can’t rearrange appointments or take any further bookings if we haven’t already booked in advance.
I've tried my best to fit everyone in before I go off so I’m sorry if you’ve missed out.
I do have a cancellations list so if you haven’t got any more appointments made please let me know and I will add you to that.
📌 I'm also off next week 25th-29th of May but back open Monday 1st of June as normal ☺️

☁️🤰🏼There’s a little human apprentice on the way at Amy & Elmo's Dog Grooming 🥰

I know some of you may have spotted the bump with the sunny weather this week & no baggy jacket 😅 but incase you hadn’t, baby Edwards is due August 2026!
We had our 2nd scan at 21 weeks on the 9th of April & have now started to tell you lovely lot the news, when coming for your appointments the last couple of weeks 🩷

I’ll be starting my maternity July 23rd instead of flying off to Tenerife with my close family 🥲
All existing appointments still stand until then! ☺️
I’m hoping to return to work with your lovely doggos between January-April 2027 ☺️ (I will post/send messages with exact dates closer to the time)!
There's a lovely lady I'm recommending come August for the period in-between who knows what's going on & we are in contact so she knows just how you like your dogs groomed & so she knows their quirks 😂

I feel so incredibly lucky to have such lovely 4 legged clients, who are so used to the process, patient and loving. They have definitely made coming to work during all the different pregnancy symptoms a lot easier! 🥰 & Also the stress of preparing to move house, which again will update you all on our move date as soon as we know! 🏡

Cooper is the new tiny Step brother of one of our regulars Toby & oh gosh he stole our hearts today for his first puppy pamper 🥰
He's paw parents are doing a great job getting his desensitized to many different things & grooming is a great one! Well done little man, one more puppy pamper then it will be your big boy groom 🏆

We aren't taking on new dogs at the moment but we are taking on new dogs from the same families as our regulars 🐶✂️

Just a little update please read & a please bare with me 💙📣
I was unfortunately taken ill in Hospital yesterday (13th November). They found that I had developed blood clots in my lungs & DVT (deep vein thrombosis) in my left leg which is serious & was very scary.
I was allowed to come home last night, but have been told to rest & not work for the next couple of weeks. I made the decision to cancel dogs today & keep dogs booked Monday (17th) onwards & see how I get on. Managing pain, fatigue and breathlessness.
Im waiting on follow up scans & appointments in the next few weeks & months to come through so may have to cancel some appointments at short notice or rearrange the best I can.

I'm really sorry to mess anyone about, but I have to do what the doctors & my body tells me to do right now.
As always I'm booked up in advance especially with it being christmas - until February now so rearranging appointments is going to be hard and I won't be able to please everyone but please bare with me while I get over this.
Thank you so much to everyone for all your continued support I honesty wouldn't be able to have such a successful business without you all 🐶❤️

Our first time today giving the newest furry addition to the Entwistle family a pamper - Norris 😍🐾
Isn't he just the cheekiest chap! He loves his Chicken which helps massively to get him used to the hair dryer which was our biggest hurdle but he did great! Soon he will be flying through his pamper sessions 🚿🐕

‼️⭐Important please read ⭐‼️
To make you all aware I had to go into Hospital to have an operation to remove my Varicose veins in my right leg on Thursday (12th of June).
Unfortunately the recovery is alot harder than I had anticipated, originally I thought I'd be able to come back to work on Monday (16th June) but now that I'm on the 2nd day of recovery I feel like it's unlikely that will be the case.
I really hate letting everyone down but I'm unable to stand in one position for more than 30 seconds without alot of pain.
Unfortunately I'm going to have to play this week abit by ear and keep you all updated via text to if I'm able to go ahead with your booked appointments.
