What a lovely day spent treating horses at a beautiful yard in Chobham… sunshine, lovely horses and great company with my lovely friend Claire Archer-Davis.

This time of year can be tough on our horses (and us!)

Cold mornings, stiff joints, muddy fields, reduced turnout and changes in workload can all lead to tight muscles and compensatory patterns.

Whether we’re bringing our horses back into work after a winter break or ploughing on through a tough winter, it is really common to notice a bit more stiffness, tightness, or unevenness in the muscles.
Massage treatments can help support:
· Muscle comfort and relaxation
· Mobility and flexibility
· Helping the body adapt gradually to increased workload
· Recovery from work
· General wellbeing through the colder months

If your horse feels a little tighter than usual right now, it might be time to give them some extra TLC.

As the year wraps up (and my hands finally get a rest), I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all my amazing clients.

Thank you for trusting me with your horses, for the endless cups of tea, the chats and catch ups and for generally being such a lovely bunch of humans. I genuinely couldn’t ask for better clients, or better horses!

I’m so grateful for your loyalty, your support, and for keeping me busy doing a job I absolutely love. It really doesn’t feel like work when I get to spend my days with horses and such good people.

Wishing you and your horses a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year, may 2026 bring fewer tight hamstrings, relaxed backs and many more fun days with our beloved horses.💚
